The intricate details and textures of this Serina Nurse cosplay uniform were brought to life beautifully in this shoot. What satisfied me most upon receiving the costume was the sailor collar and the black sleeve cuffs with gold buttons, which, paired with the nurse cap bearing the signature red cross emblem, balanced medical professionalism with student-like cuteness. Because the character is inherently thoughtful and caring, I paid special attention to prop fidelity during preparation—from the large red-and-grey medical equipment case down to the stethoscope and syringe, everything was custom-made. I even practiced holding the stethoscope in advance so that handling it in front of the lens would look effortless and organic rather than stiff and staged.
The lighting on the shoot day was fantastic, and we selected an indoor venue bathed in light from floor-to-ceiling windows. Sunlight spilled across the floor and costume, creating an airy, pristine ambiance that harmonized perfectly with the bright aesthetic of Blue Archive. For the lower body, I opted for white pantyhose for a White tights cosplay look; under the light, it beautifully flattered the leg contours while blending seamlessly with the white base of the nurse uniform, looking pure and radiant. For full-body standing shots, I carefully adjusted my center of gravity and side profile to channel cute anime charm while maintaining the poised, professional confidence of a healthcare specialist.
I was also especially fond of the seated series: resting beside the medical supply cases and luggage, casually playing with the stethoscope while glancing toward the camera. This pose captured the character's gentle, approachable warmth. I deeply admire her personality—she is that dependable medic who provides safety and security to the team with a comforting, healing touch. Throughout the shoot, I continuously worked to embody this blend of tenderness and professionalism.
For makeup, I put extra thought into complementing her short pink hair and eye color, focusing on clean, translucent eye makeup. Instead of heavy eyeliner, I used pink colored contact lenses and soft eyeshadow blending to evoke a sweet, fresh aesthetic. The wig styling was given a gentle, fluffy volume so it wouldn't look flat, maintaining its ideal shape throughout the entire shoot. The synergy between props, styling, and the photographer's lighting control meant there were practically zero wasted shots.
In terms of posing, I tried both classic poised sitting postures and livelier leaning gestures—holding the stethoscope forward toward the lens so viewers feel cared for and engaged. Standing for an entire afternoon in heels and platform shoes left my legs aching, but seeing the final results made every bit of effort worthwhile. The White tights cosplay styling not only elongated proportions but also gave every movement an airy lightness. I hope everyone can feel the care and dedication I poured into portraying Serina from Blue Archive.
