Putting down my phone to reorganize this set of mirror selfies. This time, I am doing Sunaōkami Shiroko's classic school uniform look from Blue Archive. Centered around the dark blue and white academy-style blazer, paired with an inner white shirt, a light blue tie, and the ID tag worn around the neck, the overall setup aligns very well with the character's setting. The wig choice features a silvery-gray hair color, which, combined with the animal ears on top and the light blue X-shaped hair accessory, represents Shiroko's highly iconic features. During the shooting process, this exclusive tactical rifle is definitely the core prop. The tri-color paint job of black, white, and pale blue, along with the tactical rails and suppressor, feels quite heavy in hand, balancing texture beautifully. To capture this photo, I repeatedly adjusted the muzzle direction and holding angle to ensure the weapon details were clearly visible, as the emotional nuances presented under different poses can vary greatly. For instance, the casual feel of the leaning-sitting posture, combined with the mirror selfie approach, just happens to beautifully highlight the texture of the costume and the layering of the outfit. Casual training and fittings serve to better optimize details. The contrasting visual effect formed by the long white socks and black half-finger gloves also fits the character's visual memory points perfectly. Targeted adjustments were made to the hemline, bowtie, and wig tips across these mirror selfies to ensure the completeness of the look. Recreating a character with such a strong 2D concept truly requires carefully checking every single detail. From the weight of the props to the tailoring of the costume, everything is being broken in bit by bit. I will try other forms in this series later on, so stay tuned!
