[Kamisato Ayaka Cosplay] Genshin Impact: A Spring Freeze-Frame Under Night Cherry Blossoms

This finished Genshin Impact Kamisato Ayaka cosplay photoset, shot at the end of April, was taken in a park with night cherry blossoms in full bloom. The overall vibe centers on low-saturation blue and white tones, bringing out the character's cool yet agile temperament through the night view and the contrast between light and dark.

In terms of styling preparation, the light silver-gray long hair is key to the accuracy. The bangs are trimmed into a natural straight-across arc, and the iconic pink bow hair accessories on both sides need to be clipped behind the ears at a specific angle, complemented by small rhinestones in the center of the bows to add elegance. The dark crown on top of the head fits seamlessly with the golden hair accessory clasp at the bottom, and the height and fluffiness of the high ponytail were adjusted multiple times to ensure it wouldn't look heavy or sluggish during action shots.

The makeup focuses heavily on details, with light gray contact lenses to extend the clear, translucent feel of the gaze. A pinkish-orange smudged eyeshadow was applied to the eyes, neutralizing the paleness brought by the cool-toned base makeup, making the facial contours look soft and healthy. The lip color also opts for a pinkish tone to echo the pink cords and bows in the styling. I haven't updated for a while, partly due to a heavy workload and partly because I wanted to pursue the authentic texture of the cherry blossoms, rather than directly photoshopping rigid patterns onto the images. I've been constantly searching for the most suitable color grading scheme, slowly refining the nighttime overexposure or blocked shadows, trying my best to preserve the real cool-toned night cherry blossoms seen on set by the naked eye. The final outcome finds a perfect balance between the contrast of the cool-colored background and the warm-toned character, and I feel this photoset is fully enough to express the mood desired through this atmospheric photography session.
