This photo set sharing of my Iuno cosplay was shot in an indoor ancient style cosplay real-scene studio at Yongqing Fang. The set beautifully recreated an ancient fantasy realm, featuring bamboo branches, cherry blossoms, red maples, lanterns, and a giant luminous full-moon backdrop; combined with on-site dry ice and backlighting, the atmosphere was at its peak. For the wig, I chose long twin tails with a bright blue gradient fading into light white at the tips, accented with blue floral hairpins and golden tassel hairpins (buyao) on top. The costume features a white wide-sleeved maxi dress layered with translucent white tulle, adorned with gold heart embroidery on the chest and golden floral embroidery on the skirt hem. A blue-gray sash was tied at the waist, accompanied by a light blue shawl drape and yellow ribbons. In terms of accessories, an eye-catching ornate gold torc choker sat on my chest, paired with wide gold bangles on the wrists and barefoot styling with an anklet.
Props included a teal circular fan, an antique-style scroll, and a small white cup. When designing poses, I drew inspiration from the character's aloof, ethereal aura. Sitting on a wooden chair with one leg slightly raised, holding the round fan or lifting the cup, letting my gaze drift or looking straight into the lens, effectively captured the character's languid and celestial presence. There were also several shots playing the guzheng and reclining with the scroll in hand. To highlight body lines, the slit in the skirt naturally revealed leg contours while seated, which, combined with the beaded anklet, was packed with delicate details. The lighting setup was crucial for this shoot—especially the rim light created by backlighting, making the vibrant contrast between the blue hair and the white dress stand out sharply. Throughout the session, I repeatedly fine-tuned my seating postures and hand placements to capture the best expressions and movements.
