[Dengdeng cos] Wuthering Waves: This glossy techwear outfit is simply too cute

Shooting this Dengdeng outfit from Wuthering Waves took a lot of thought, from presenting the costume's texture to matching the props. The pink glossy jacket refracts a strong luster under the lights; to avoid overexposing the highlights, the lighting position was repeatedly adjusted on site with the photographer. The inner layer is a black glossy bodysuit, accented with a white star on the chest, forming a sharp color contrast with the jacket. The lower body's black-and-white color-blocked tight pants feature a belt with metal rings, along with cutout designs on the thighs, giving the overall look a touch of techwear coolness amidst its cuteness.

Grooming the wig was also a focus this time. Light gray twin tails are paired with thick braided pigtails on both sides, and golden disc decorations are installed on the two hair buns on top of the head, giving it a very unique texture. A black wide headband is fixed in front of the forehead, and a white small square with a pattern is suspended on the upper left with a thin thread, swaying gently when moving or posing, looking very lively. In terms of makeup, pinkish-purple contact lenses were used, with a large area of pink-toned blending on the eye makeup, paired with moist lip gloss, making the character look even more energetic. The palms of the black half-finger leather gloves on the hands are made of golden material, and the metal rings at the wrists sparkle under the lights, with details done extremely well.

The little mouse plush prop held in the hands is super fluffy, and its white-and-brown mixed color fits the color tone of the entire frame very well. The shooting location was decorated with red-and-white warning tapes and a red telephone booth, featuring high color saturation, which gave me a lot of inspiration for posing. I tried different actions, such as holding the little mouse with both hands while looking at the lens, or extending one hand forward with the curvature of the fingers, trying to make the picture look vivid and lively. Photographer @月瞳的摄影日记 is very skilled at capturing dynamic light and shadow, capturing the texture of the glossy material exceptionally transparently.

Although it was a bit tiring to constantly adjust postures while wearing this outfit on the shooting day, and the wig needed grooming from time to time, seeing the reflective effect of the glossy jacket and the overall atmosphere in the final photos made everything totally worthwhile. I have always loved this kind of styling that showcases the cute girl attribute while carrying sci-fi techwear elements, so I maintained a very excited state during the shoot, hoping to convey the character's lively feel to everyone through this set of photos.
