[Kal'tsit Cosplay] Arknights Skin Outfit Try-on Haul Record

I picked up a set of Kal'tsit's skin outfit from Manjiong and took advantage of a quiet corner at the convention venue to shoot a few try-on haul records. Upon receiving this set, my immediate impression was how rich the design elements were, focusing on a techwear aesthetic and clean line segmentation rather than cluttered stacking.

White serves as the primary base tone, framed by large black borders and accented with vibrant fluorescent green, creating striking color-block contrasts. The most eye-catching item is the large white coat, designed with an oversized silhouette that offers ample shoulder room. Draped over the body, it brings a natural presence, with geometric edgings precisely aligned with the original character setting. The fitted inner layer isn't overly restrictive; the triangular emblem on the chest and metallic buckle accents add three-dimensional visual depth. Multiple black adjustable straps tighten around the waist, shaping the torso while allowing easy fit adjustments for practicality.

Compared to other versions I've seen previously, this white-and-green color scheme is much cleaner, using materials that lack cheap reflective shine, making the overall texture far superior. However, I agree with the small flaw mentioned in other review posts: the back of the coat indeed lacks the character's iconic spine structural component. If the manufacturer can add that joint effect in the future, the completeness of this cosplay outfit would reach an even higher level. Still, at its current state, I'm quite satisfied with the physical product, as the stitching and edging are handled delicately.

For the animal ears headpiece, I chose cat ear cosplay style ears with grey bases and black tips, matching the character's disposition nicely. The wig features subtle light green highlights that reflect a natural shine under the venue's mixed warm and white indoor lights without looking stiff. To match the cool and sharp style of this outfit, I kept my eye makeup subtle, avoiding excess color while focusing on elongated eyeliner and a clean, flawless base paired with muted lip color. This highlights facial contours without overpowering the attire.

The segmented leggings design on the lower body won me over. The black over-the-knee stockings feature translucent spliced panels at the upper thighs along with black outer straps, which visually divide the thigh area, flatter leg lines, and elongate lower body proportions—complemented perfectly by techwear style. On my feet are thick-soled, block-heeled black boots with bright green buckle accents at the ankles, echoing the overall color theme while making the posture look taller and sharper.

Trying this on at the convention was quite a challenge; navigating smooth venue floors in high block-heeled boots requires a bit of technique to avoid slipping. Fortunately, the coat's fabric is crisp and structured, producing a dynamic flow while walking, with broad cuffs and hem creating impressive momentum in motion shots.

The arch structure with a white base and black lines in the background happened to echo the black-and-white outfit scheme, resulting in clean photos free of colorful clutter. The materials are comfortable to wear, and despite having some weight, the breathability is good enough to prevent sweating after walking around indoors.

From fitting to shooting, it took over half an hour of effort, but standing before the camera and posing brought a real sense of accomplishment. Outfits with sci-fi and techwear elements might feel exaggerated for daily wear, but in specific environments and stylings, they showcase a cool, distinct aesthetic. Recreating any character outfit requires adjusting one's body lines and aura; overall, this try-on haul experience was a fresh and exciting endeavor.
