This set of convention photos from the Firefly ACG Expo was truly full of twists and turns. Because it was too hot and crowded inside the venue, the abandoned parking lot we stumbled upon outside unexpectedly gave us an excellent creative space. Amidst the reinforced concrete where the cold wind blew straight in, it actually suited the atmosphere of this Caged Singer outfit much better. The character's own temperament, which combines gorgeousness and darkness, was amplified quite a bit under the industrial pipes and overhead lighting. I am very satisfied with the texture of the wig and animal ears; the black and gold color scheme of the corset and long boots looks incredibly photogenic on camera. Although I was shivering with cold crouching in the corner, seeing that cool and slightly detached look in my eyes in the final photos made it all worth it. This set of photos didn't intentionally undergo complex post-processing; we just wanted to preserve some of the live light and shadow layers to make the details and texture of the costume more realistic. Additionally, that black umbrella was truly a stroke of genius, serving as a prop to enrich the composition while blocking out some messy background light. I thoroughly enjoyed this immersive creation, finding the right camera positions and angles in extreme environments to restore the character's sense of story as much as possible. This cosplay experience was very complete, and I hope everyone can feel the little clever designs in this outfit.
