Here is my Cosplay fitting experience with the Long Night Reborn cosplay costume from Miaowu Cosplay. I usually wear a size S, but immediately after trying this set on, I realized the sizing runs noticeably small and I definitely need to exchange it for a size M. If anyone is planning to pick up this set, I strongly suggest sizing up by at least one size.
First, regarding the tailoring: the dark navy corset bodice is constructed with impressive structure and boning, accented across the front with light blue and pink lines that trace refined contours, delivering an exceptionally pronounced slimming effect at the waist. I have a typical H-shaped figure with an indistinct waistline, so I usually look for designs that sculpt curves firmly. Once I put this on, the corset cut sat right at the narrowest point of the waist, which, combined with the outward flare of the voluminous skirt hem, visually sculpted a clear waistline through sheer proportional contrast—a truly pleasant surprise.
Looking at the skirt, it is breathtakingly gorgeous. It features multi-layered gradient tulle transitioning seamlessly from deep navy to light azure and soft pink, with a glitter-flecked sheer overlay that catches subtle specular highlights with movement. Because the fitting was done in a rush, I didn't spend time fluffing or styling the skirt, and it even looked slightly disorganized, yet its built-in volume and layered architecture held their ground effortlessly. The back features a sweeping, flowing train of sheer tulle with excellent drape; the outer tulle has just enough crisp structure to maintain its poof, while the inner lining resting against the skin is soft and non-scratchy.
The accessory set is remarkably comprehensive. The blue cut-out choker is adorned with pink petal pendants that echo the dress palette. The white sheer puff arm sleeves possess generous volume, softening the shoulder lines once worn. Pearl-like beads are studded across the skirt surface, elevating the craftsmanship. On my legs, I styled a Pantyhose outfit with light greyish-white tights, paired with glittery blue flats for a cohesive color story. Holding the green Miaowu shopping bag while taking mirror selfies in the dressing room added a relaxed, natural lifestyle touch.
The overall craftsmanship matches the price point, with clean stitching and no loose pearls or sequins in sight. However, because the skirt hemline is massive, putting it on and taking it off takes some care, and one needs to mind the train when sitting down. For cosplay conventions or event photography, this coordinate's visual impact will undeniably command attention. Overall, it is not only ideal for convention snapshots but also serves as a fantastic silhouette test for H-shaped bodies—as long as you choose the right size, it looks incomparably better worn than on a hanger.
