[Space Ereshkigal cosplay] Dreamy Blue Tones in Fate/Grand Order: Perfectly Capturing the Moon Girlfriend

This [Space Ereshkigal cosplay] photoshoot marks a milestone for 2026. As a long-time fan of Fate/Grand Order and a dedicated Master (Guda), kicking off the new year in this form is deeply meaningful to me.

Preparing this costume took substantial effort, especially balancing and securing those massive, curved sheep horns—frequent head movements and turns during the shoot easily shifted the center of gravity, risking the headpiece falling off. The skirt fabric was chosen with great care: an outer layer of lightweight sheer mesh backed by rigid boning beneath to support the voluminous fluffiness and petal-like layering of the hem. The cyan corset on the upper body is boned with stays, which strictly tests the waistline yet flatters the silhouette beautifully; combined with the black-and-gold cross ornament, it elevated the overall texture immediately. White gloves paired with the White over-the-knee socks on the legs created a very cohesive visual flow.

For the venue, we specifically chose a studio with extensive blue-and-white props, decorated with crystal chandeliers, cascading beaded chains, white angel statues, and dreamy blue hydrangeas, which matched the character's aesthetic seamlessly. The photographer put immense effort into lighting, creating a sharp contrast between warm and cool light while interweaving foreground bokeh and halos to evoke a melancholy yet aesthetically pure mood.

Aiming to capture an aura that is both elegant and slightly aloof, I designed several distinct poses: stepping one leg onto a white wrought-iron prop while leaning slightly to maximize leg contours and boot proportions, as well as adopting side-sitting or gently forward-leaning stances to complement the voluminous skirt, letting the sheen of the White over-the-knee socks and the cyan corset form a soft contrast in the frame.

The post-processing stage mainly focused on balancing light and shadow layers—preserving character texture while enhancing the cool cyan-blue tones, without crushing the warm rim lighting so the subject wouldn't appear flat. The final output turned out exceptionally pure and clear.

This shoot deepened my understanding of Space Ereshkigal, and I'm grateful to the on-set crew for fine-tuning all the details. I hope this high level of fidelity conveys the character's distinct charm. The experience gained from this shoot also gives me greater confidence for my other plans in 2026.
