[The Shorekeeper cosplay] A Blue Ocean-Like Fantasy: The Costume Details Completely Captured My Heart

The theme of this studio shoot is The Shorekeeper, and a massive amount of time was spent polishing the entire look from the wig and costume to the accessories. The wig is a light cyan-blue with a gradient effect. To recreate the character's ethereal and mysterious temperament, I specially adjusted the layers of the bangs and hair ends to make it look flowing under the light. The patchwork of the costume and the transparent sheer fabric were the biggest challenges this time. The star-shaped decoration on the chest and the ruffle design on the shoulders needed to maintain a lightweight feel without looking cheap, so pearlescent fabric and stiff mesh tulle were chosen for support. The silver winding straps on the arms were repeatedly tested for the position and tightness of each loop; they couldn't leave marks but still needed to look layered, and we also had to prevent them from slipping during the shoot.

The shoes are transparent, uniquely-heeled high-heeled sandals paired with white straps, making the ankle and leg lines look more elongated in the frame. The set was arranged with a white inflatable sofa, white flower clusters, balloons, and draping blue fabrics, crafting a cool yet soft overall atmosphere for this blue-themed cosplay. Cool-toned blue and white lights were used, hitting the white gauze and plastic props to reflect a shimmering, sparkling texture, perfectly fitting The Shorekeeper's quiet and independent persona. The sitting posture took the most thought during the roleplay, as I needed to keep hand movements natural while making the flow of the skirt hem and gauze drapes look beautiful, all while avoiding excessive reflection from the shoes. I'm highly satisfied with the final result of this set. Every detail did its best to restore the Shorekeeper in my heart, and I hope you can feel the purity and power inherent to the character.
