[Tribbie Cosplay] Tribbie in the Retro Study, Today Is Another Day of Diligent Research

Putting on the red wig, properly wearing the headpiece with white and blue flowers and golden embellishments, and donning this white costume with gold trim, I quickly entered the zone of the character Tribbie. The location for this studio shoot was a retro study; the deep brown leather executive chair, the wall full of classical hardcover books behind it, the globe on top of the bookcase, and the newspapers and papers scattered on the desk all gave the entire atmosphere a strong sense of narrative.

We prepared many props, such as a golden magnifying glass, a retro-style quill pen, and an English newspaper with white text on a red background. These props not only enriched the composition of the frames but also gave me more to hold onto when posing. When picking up the magnifying glass to read the newspaper, I would deliberately focus my gaze on a certain spot, mimicking the look of diligently reviewing data. That quill pen was extremely lightweight; holding it in hand to pretend to write something down, paired with the texture of the gloves, carried a very unique retro and academic aura.

Considering the character's personality traits, besides displaying her focused research side, I also tried incorporating some more agile and childlike expressions and movements. For instance, in the shot where I hold up a hardcover book, with my chin slightly raised and looking calmly at the lens, it expresses that feeling of a child pretending to be mature while carrying a natural innocence. The other pictures of holding the magnifying glass to read the newspaper, paired with natural light and shadow, make it seem as though I am truly cracking a difficult puzzle.

Aside from the props, the arrangement of the entire scene also played a major role. The dark wood-colored furniture formed a wonderful visual contrast with my fair skin and cute red hair. During the shoot, soft and warm-toned lighting was specially chosen, which not only cared for the texture of the wig strands but also allowed the luster on the surface of the white-and-gold costume and the details of the metal brooch to be better displayed. The leather chair back had an excellent texture, perfectly matching the white, grey, and black color scheme of this outfit.

切割 Actually, when shooting a character with a specific occupational setting, the greatest joy lies in recreating her tiny world through props and actions. Aligning the magnifying glass with the newspaper, you are playing a detective or a scholar; raising the quill pen, you look as if you are writing a massive volume of research notes. Although we had to constantly adjust the positions of the props and find the angles with the best light during the shooting process, when the final photos were presented, that sense of immersion as if being in an otherworldly study was incredibly authentic.

Ultimately, this photo set presents a classical, quiet, yet exploratory atmosphere overall. In every photo, the subtle clever designs on the costume can be seen, such as the white and blue flower decorations, the black inner collar, and those exquisite patterns. It feels like the compatibility between this outfit and the scene is exceptionally high; whether from the frontal composition or the placement of the props, it makes the character's image much more vivid. I am delighted to record this unique blend of library detective vibe and childlike innocence through photographs via this anime cosplay.
