While sorting out this set of Uzuki photos from the white studio, looking at these frozen moments makes me feel as if I can still experience that quiet and cozy atmosphere during the shoot. Unknowingly, this is already the \"53rd Azur Lane Photography Set\" in collaboration with Pulao411, and every set brings different experiences and gains. This bright yellow animal-styled hooded coat is actually quite challenging for white studio photography. Because on a pure white background and plush carpet, a large area of bright yellow can easily look abrupt if the lighting isn't handled well. But this time, thanks to the softening of the light, the combination of yellow, white, and pink presents a very clean and refreshing candy-colored texture. Regarding the wig, the bangs and sideburns were specially trimmed, hoping to stay closer to Uzuki's slightly lazy and dorky everyday state. For the makeup, the blush and the slight redness around the eyes were emphasized to highlight the character's softness and a touch of sleepiness. Speaking of the shooting process, Pulao is extremely adept at catching the natural expressions of a person when relaxed. For instance, curling up while holding a white pillow, or lying on the plush blanket with feet slightly tilted upward—these seemingly simple poses actually demand a high degree of body flexibility. Throughout the shoot, we also tried adjusting the lighting ratio, utilizing side softboxes to create a three-dimensional feel, avoiding the flat light and shadow common in massive white studios. This lighting method not only makes the skin tone look more translucent and fair, but also gives the fabric texture of the yellow coat a soft, pillowy texture through the lens. As a member of Azur Lane's Sakura Empire Mutsuki-class destroyers, Uzuki carries a unique everyday feel. This anime cosplay is not just about recreating her outward appearance, but hopes to record those cute moments where she is a bit dazed yet trying her best to perform well through the lens. This piece of work is also a heartfelt gift prepared for the Azur Lane 9th Anniversary celebration, carrying a special meaning for me. In post-processing, we tried our best to maintain the color tone of the original shots without making intentional, heavy-handed changes, but instead pursued a natural, translucent, and bright atmosphere resembling the first ray of morning sunlight piercing into a room. The cleanliness of the white studio and the bright colors of the character's costume fulfill each other; instead, it is the simplest background that can better bake out the personality traits of the main subject. This photo set experimented with different body languages in its lens language to express various emotions, including laziness, reliance, and a moderate amount of playfulness. What is displayed to everyone through these photos is precisely a relaxed, undefined state of living. I hope this group of photos allows everyone to feel this unique warmth via this atmospheric photography.
