The process of shooting Wuthering Waves' The Shorekeeper this time really left a deep impression on me. In preparing the costume, I chose this dress dominated by white tulle. To present that lightweight yet sacred characteristic, the layered design of the skirt hem and the slightly sheer material were the key points. In terms of makeup, to match the blue wig, I intentionally chose cool-toned eyeshadow paired with blue contact lenses, while the lip makeup used a bit of true red to brighten the complexion, making the overall facial contours more three-dimensional.

The shooting scene was mainly in a white indoor space. To match the dreamy feel of this outfit, we added falling snow special effects in post-production for the first and fourth pictures. To make the movements more natural, when walking and sitting down, I paid special attention to using my hands or the skirt hem to guide the tulle. Like in the second picture, sitting on a vintage sofa, I deliberately maintained a crossed-leg posture, which can well showcase the black leather leg garter on the thigh and the black high heels, forming a strong color contrast. During the shoot, I continuously adjusted the slight retraction angle of my chin and the focal length of my gaze, ensuring that I presented a state of tranquility mixed with a hint of allure in front of the lens. The patent leather texture of the black high heels gleamed under the lighting, which, combined with the leg garter, added a bit of a cool element to the overall gentle atmosphere.

The third picture is a mirror selfie perspective. Actually, shooting this kind of angle requires special attention to the extension of the back—dropping the shoulders and tilting the head slightly can showcase the translucent feel of the back tulle and the neck lines. I especially love the pearl necklace and the crisscross delicate chains on the back; they look extremely exquisite when reflecting light while also outlining the lines of the shoulders and back. The reflection in the mirror also gave the frame a bit more spatial extension.

Throughout the entire photo shoot, although bolstered by snow special effect post-production, the pre-production lighting and shadow setup was extremely important. On-site, we used a large amount of diffuse lighting to ensure the translucent feel of the model's skin while preventing the lace edges of the skirt from losing details. In color grading, we also tried to lower the contrast in the shadows as much as possible, making the entire frame lean towards a high-brightness, low-saturation Japanese fresh style. During the shoot, light tulle was also spread on the ground, utilizing the wind power of a fan to make them float naturally, capturing dynamic moments.

Standing before this set of photos, it feels as if one is truly immersed in that somewhat illusory scene. Interlaced light and shadow can be considered a complete interpretation of this character. As the cosplayer, I hope this photoshoot can convey that unique atmospheric vibe.
