For this Wuthering Waves Creator Incentive activity, I chose the character Mornye. Throughout the shoot, my deepest impression was just how rich the costume details are. To faithfully convey that sci-fi and research-oriented aura, I styled the wig and contacts with makeup emphasizing the aloof cool of red eyes, lowering my gaze deliberately to convey intense concentration while holding a thick notebook as if recording data.
We specifically chose a location featuring a board with physical structural diagrams. Paired with realistic, bright, cool-toned lighting, this created a sharp contrast to the celestial sky in the original art, evoking an authentic laboratory atmosphere. The outfit itself features a long white coat over a dark high-neck inner layer; the metallic ring ornament on the chest is eye-catching, the waist tailored slimly, and the light-purple textured Stockings blend harmoniously with the color palette, accentuating leg contours gracefully.
Walking indoors, the coat's drape looked fantastic. To capture optimal angles, we tried various poses, especially holding the book to the chest—balancing rigorous academic poise with a calm, immersed feeling. This Cosplay had strict positioning demands, as framing looked awkward if placed too close to the edges, requiring careful ratio balancing in post-production to preserve overall visual integrity.
Given her intellectual characterization, I kept facial expressions relaxed throughout the shoot without forced drama, letting the tactile quality of the costume and my composed demeanor anchor the character. Composing the shots with reflections off the board added wonderful atmosphere, making the setting feel crisp with a hint of mystery. As a Wuthering Waves daily life share for the Wuthering Waves Creator Incentive, beyond faithfully recreating the canonical design, I also wove in subtle personal touches—like pairing Stockings with the long coat to enhance visual tension.
