[The Shorekeeper cosplay] Falling into the Blue Star Sea of Wuthering Waves, an Immersive Recreation

For this cosplay photoshoot, I chose the character The Shorekeeper. The overall blue and white color scheme and the lightweight tulle costume actually posed a great challenge for the set design and lighting. To recreate that dreamy feeling of being deep within the star sea, the venue was specially laid out with high-reflectivity mirror flooring, paired with blue and white Roman columns and floral decorations to create a visual effect where the water surface and the starry sky blend together.
The butterflies on the headpiece and the deep blue ribbons are the key details. During the shoot, we intentionally used a fan to give the skirt hem and hair strands a natural fluttering movement. For the makeup, I skipped overly heavy eyeshadow and emphasized the translucency of the base makeup and the cool tone of the lip color. Paired with a light blue wig, I hoped to present the character's gentle yet detached aura. The tailoring of the costume is quite complex; the multiple layers of pleats and metallic accessories took a long time to adjust in front of a full-length mirror to reach the optimal state.
The lighting for this set utilized a relatively soft, cool white light source. In post-processing, we mainly unified the color temperature and the cleanliness of the reflective areas without using excessive filters, preserving the skin texture and fabric grain. Actually, the floor was very slippery on the day of the shoot. Standing barefoot on the mirror surface required careful attention to balance, but fortunately, the final photos perfectly captured this icy, crisp atmosphere. The Shorekeeper's lore in Wuthering Waves inherently carries a sense of serene strength. I hope this cosplay photoshoot allows friends who love this character to feel that unique, tranquil beauty.
