[Castorice Cosplay] 4-Day Full Attendance at Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo: Honkai: Star Rail, Wuthering Waves & Zenless Zone Zero Lineup

Spending four full days at the Kangshifu booth during Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo with a new look each day was a huge test of physical stamina and energy, but I absolutely loved switching between characters from different dimensions.

Day one featured Castorice cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail. This purple and black dress excels in detail—from the dark, vine-like patterns along the skirt hem to the black crystal collar at the neckline, the quality was top-notch. The elf-eared wig paired with side butterfly hairpieces made for my favorite visual focal point. Since the skirt is voluminous, posing in front of the booth created great dynamic tension; a few snapshots with slightly raised hands looked crisp and commanding on camera.

On day two, I switched to The Shorekeeper cosplay, pivoting to a blue and white palette. The outfit layers delicate tulle to build rich dimension, accented by a white veil headpiece and pearl chains for an ethereal, airy feel. Against the vibrant yellow backdrop of the Kangshifu booth, the blue and white scheme popped with remarkable translucency. Poses leaning half-against the booth or squatting slightly to show leg lines easily yielded incredible photos, perfectly evoking her cool, otherworldly aura.

Day three was Chisaki from Wuthering Waves. Straight black hair with animal ears, paired with a white-and-brown color-blocked maid dress and red strappy accents across the chest and waist, made for a striking design. The brown teddy bear plush and prop canister at the waist added extra cuteness. For this look, I deliberately challenged myself with livelier, more expressive poses and expressions—the exhaustion of full attendance seemed to melt away the moment I put it on.

On the final day, I put on Zenless Zone Zero Chinatsu cosplay. Featuring light green long hair with cat ears, this ensemble leaned toward a crisp, playful academy style—a completely different vibe from previous days that perfectly matched Zenless Zone Zero's distinct artistic flavor.

Working all four days against the vibrant background of the booth was intense with dense crowds, but the booth's lighting and drink displays provided a rich color foundation for photo output. As a cosplayer, maintaining long-lasting makeup while constantly checking wig stability was essential. Long hours of standing, crouching, and moving around the booth served as real physical endurance training. Although taking off the wig and heavy outfit each night brought instant relief, reviewing camera playback and seeing each character shine under convention lighting made all four days completely worth it. The convention atmosphere was electric, and every moment of camera interaction reminded me of the unique sense of connection in ACG culture.
