Putting on this apex Hsin costume, the first thing felt is the multi-layered design weight. After putting on the white wig, the first task was to adjust that pair of giant fox ears. To keep them upright, the built-in skeleton and hairpins needed to be precisely clipped to specific positions on top of the head, otherwise lowering the head slightly would make it look lifeless. The red teardrop mark on the forehead uses a waterproof sticker, paired with pink-toned eyeshadow and light-colored contact lenses, requiring the entire makeup look to maintain an extremely high level of cleanliness. The painted pattern on the collarbone needs to be outlined even more carefully, because the off-the-shoulder yellow top leaves no room to hide flaws.

The structure of the costume is very complex. There are star-shaped metal pieces and red gems on the chest, and the black, white, and golden waistband at the waist is layered several times. Although it provides a sense of support, it also tightly restricts the range of motion when bending over. The wide white sleeve cuffs are key props during photography; every wave or soft grip requires attention to whether the black lines and yellow ruffles on the inner side of the cuffs are displayed in the lens. The yellow skirt panels and white outer skirt of the hem interweave, requiring constant caution not to trip when walking.

Actually, what needs to be controlled the most is that giant fox tail. Not only does it have a sense of volume, but the golden star pendants on the tail also sway with the steps. To make the tail look naturally upturned in full-body photos, the waist has to secretly exert force, keeping the chest out and abdomen reined in, while also securing the leg's center of gravity. Paired with white stockings and gloves, the overall movement range cannot be too large, but this precisely fits the cold, distant feeling required by the character. Every time striking a pose, a balance must be found between details and overall coordination.

The background of the CICF booth is a gray-blue three-dimensional sculpture, and the cold, rigid light and shadow form a great contrast with this white-and-yellow costume. There are many people on site, and the temperature is not low. Maintaining this cold expression and relaxed gesture under the spotlights is actually a test of physical strength and concentration. Every time striking a pose with fingertips lightly pointing in front of the lens, angles must be calculated to ensure that the pattern on the chest and the golden waist ornaments are fully displayed. Sometimes, to wait for a moment without passersby entering the frame, one needs to hold the posture and stand for a long time, but seeing the texture presented on the camera screen makes all this persistence feel worthwhile.

From studio shooting to the convention booth, many details of this styling have been repeatedly revised. Many friends asked me on-site if the tail is heavy; actually, once you get used to it, it becomes part of the body. The set design and light-and-shadow matching this time maxed out the atmospheric vibe. Although it's a high-intensity anime convention schedule, being able to showcase all the details of this costume in front of the lens and feel the texture of those fine metal parts and fabrics under the light—this sense of immersion has already offset the fatigue.
