Serving as the booth model for a friend's original Figure and stepping into the Tokyo Wonder Festival venue for the first time, this day turned out to be far more fulfilling than imagined.

For this Hatsune Miku cosplay styling, I spent a long time the previous night combing and styling the wig strands. While the long teal twintails look gorgeous, walking through the convention floor required constant awareness to avoid sweeping against passersby. The platform boots also added to the physical strain of standing amidst the crowds; crouching down during breaks to strike my usual peace-sign gesture unexpectedly became the most relaxing moment.

The foot traffic at the event was far denser than anticipated. My primary role was staffing my friend's booth, so I couldn't leave the area freely. The oversized teal twintail plush bag I brought was an extra prop I prepared; hugging it helped take some weight off my posture while becoming a popular focal point for interactive photos. Placed on display in front of the booth was my friend's original Figure—the detail craftsmanship was impeccable, with exquisite aesthetic transitions in lighting and sculpting. Seeing visitors pause to examine the Figure closely or marvel at its details made me feel immensely proud as the booth model.

I saw countless remarkable works throughout the day, ranging from minimalist designs to structurally complex mechanical sculptures. Passing by other booths, I caught glimpses of physical pieces by master sculptors I usually follow online. Many creators on-site were happy to take the time to explain their sculpting workflows and materials, which proved tremendously insightful and gave me fresh inspiration for enhancing my future cosplay craftsmanship. The dense creative passion in the exhibition halls, along with the ceaseless flow of people and clicking shutters, filled the entire event with vibrant energy.

By the afternoon, my stamina was starting to run low from standing almost continuously while communicating with photographers and directing posing angles. However, it was a fulfilling kind of tiredness. Seeing attendees carefully photographing at the booth, I could genuinely feel their passion for these original creations. When teardown time arrived in the evening, my body was exhausted, but my heart was deeply peaceful and joyful. This Hatsune Miku cosplay booth experience showed me a much broader creative world; packing up the Figure models with my friend afterwards and chatting about everything we saw that day brought a profound sense of closure and accomplishment. Looking back on the day, seeing so many breathtaking creations and speaking face-to-face with Figure creators provided endless inspiration. Next time, if given the opportunity, I will budget more time to explore the venue thoroughly and manage my energy better—definitely aiming to come back again!
