This time, I shot two sets of Fate/Grand Order photos in one go, featuring red and black two-color maid outfits, which genuinely satisfied my cravings. On the left is my beloved Lancer Artoria Alter, combining a dark theme with purple embellishments. Paired with that iconic ahoge (cowlick) and hair accessory, the overall style goes for a cool, elegant, and aloof route. For the movements, I specially selected a half-kneeling posture holding a tray, keeping my gaze down to suppress that chilling sharpness. The black stockings and lace-up details also took a long time to adjust, and paired with black high heels, the aura pops out instantly. On the right is Her Majesty Nero, whom everyone is familiar with, showcasing red, white, and gold colors, plus tassel epaulets and a massive amount of ruffles, cranking the princess vibe to the max. To shoot a puffy look for this set, quite a few supports were hidden inside the skirt hem, and the white lace stockings and golden shoes also have their details on point. The platform was a bit high during the shoot, and the kneeling posture was actually quite a test for the core, but I particularly love this kind of dynamic composition. The two makeup looks were also differentiated: Lancer Alter's eye makeup leans toward sharp, while Nero has some red eyeshadow added to echo the clothing. Cosplay is not just about putting on the clothes; from securing the accessories to layering the hairstyle, and then to expression management, every single link affects the final photo results. Every time I try different characters, I can discover new fun, especially when communicating with the photographer about lighting during studio shoots to find the angles that best highlight the texture of the garments. In this photo set, I deliberately held the character cards, which counts as a little Easter egg for fellow fans. The costume details in Fate are incredibly rich, and being able to restore them brings a huge sense of achievement. I hope this red and black contrast allows everyone to see a different maid style, and thank you to the photographer for helping me capture these moments.
