The set of photos shot outside the halls at CICF is finally curated today—this time taking on a character from Azur Lane. Let's talk about the outfit first: a monochrome black-and-white spliced design, featuring a white halter bralette paired with a black underbust corset, accented at the chest cutout with a silver cross. The black gemstone choker around the neck, along with the metallic twin horns and golden spiked halo headpiece, form the true soul of this styling. Due to extensive exposed skin, the photographer tested numerous angles to prevent intense hall lighting from blowing out the highlights. The wig was styled in sleek, light-blonde long straight locks with thinned-out tips and textured bangs, paired with crimson contact lenses and bold stage makeup to evoke a mature, commanding onee-san presence. Foot traffic at the Guangzhou Anime Convention was immense, and navigating the hall clad in a voluminous black cape and stockings proved quite demanding physically—especially when striking poses seated cross-legged on a blanket, where keeping the drape of the hemline and cape in check required constant vigilance. The texture of the White stockings produced noticeable specular glare beneath expo spotlights, requiring highlights to be slightly lowered in post-processing. The shoot emphasized body curves and the overarching dark gothic ambiance. The photographer guided me through several dynamic angles, such as partially concealing the frame with the cape or leaning forward slightly while seated to better showcase the garment's craftsmanship. Bringing such a daringly designed character to life naturally brings a hint of nervous hesitation, yet viewing the frames on camera made all the exhaustion instantly vanish. From sourcing and tailoring to makeup tests and live shooting, every step demands meticulous polish. This photo set is not merely a character showcase, but a personal artistic statement toward performance and the lens. Once the detailed macro shots are retouched, I'll share them to show off the intricate patterns and metallic accessories.
