The shoot for this Rinshtar look was completed using white background photography, intentionally choosing a minimalist white backdrop to highlight the colors and texture of the costume itself. With blue and white as the primary color scheme, paired with gold borders and a red bow tie accent, the overall visual contrast is highly distinct. The ruffles and blue bow on the headpiece, the gold thread decorations on the skirt hem, and the small blue bows at the ankles—every detail was restored as accurately as possible. The prop interaction with the tray and goblet prevents the single-leg standing pose from looking stiff, instead bringing out a slightly playful waitress vibe.
In terms of styling preparation, many fine adjustments were made to the fluffiness and messy texture of the wig to make the long hair drape down more naturally. For the makeup, to coordinate with the character's signature red eyes, I tried a sharper eyeliner, hoping to preserve her specific temperament without appearing overly fierce.
The single-leg standing pose during the shoot was actually quite a test for core strength, especially the posture of grabbing the ankle with one hand, which requires excellent physical balance. To capture the beautiful curve of the skirt hem and a natural stance, I adjusted my center of gravity repeatedly. Fortunately, the studio lighting was very friendly; the rim lighting coming down gave the skin tone a beautiful texture, and with a bit of post-processing texture enhancement, the photos present a luster similar to a CG figure.
Although the white studio is a minimalist environment, it is indeed perfect for such color-rich costumes, maximizing the avoidance of background distractions and focusing the viewer's gaze entirely on the person. The light and shadow refracted through the goblet prop under the studio lights also became a small highlight of the composition.
This photoset is also an attempt at a new look and poses for me. Although a lot of time was spent on costume details and prop preparation, being able to ultimately shoot such a clean and translucent effect in the studio makes me feel that all previous preparations were completely worth it. I hope to show everyone a different side of Rinshtar-style fashion through this set.
