This time, I prepared a very popular character from Blue Archive—Kiryuu Kikyou. When preparing this look, I paid special attention to the restoration of the character's core elements, especially the blue kimono-style outer robe with white star patterns; the handling of texture and color directly determines the overall visual height. To make the character more agile, the cat ears design was reinforced to ensure they remain upright when shooting from different angles, and combined with the arc of the hairstyle, it makes the character look more three-dimensional. As part of the cosplay, the drape of the clothing and the proportion of accessories are very critical. I also adjusted my posture many times during shooting, trying to restore Kikyou's unique and introverted temperament. For a character with such a Japanese style, the coordination of facial makeup and hairstyle is equally important. I chose a wig with better texture and combined it with the volume of the cat ears, giving the whole character more presence in front of the lens. Whether it's the overall color scheme or the embellishments in the details, I hope to let everyone see a more complete character image. In terms of choosing the shooting environment, I also tried to create a cool and story-filled atmosphere to echo the mysterious temperament set by the character. This deep restoration from costume details to character expression is exactly the sense of achievement I pursue most during the creative process, and I hope friends who like this character can feel the sincerity.
