[Roxy cosplay] Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, The Highlight Bunny Girl in the Garage

After the Guangzhou Anime Convention (CICF Expo), I shot a set of Roxy's bunny girl looks in the outdoor underground garage. Every detail of this outfit from top to bottom was repeatedly considered, with the light blue long braided wig paired with blue colored contact lenses and pointed elf ears, making it visually very eye-catching. The black glossy patent leather bodysuit is the visual center of the entire look. This material hugs the body contours very well, but requires extra care during routine movements to prevent creases or surface scratches. The white collar and black bowtie at the neckline, along with the black-white-pink color-blocked bunny ear headpiece on top of the head, add layers to the entire outfit.

The shooting location was chosen to be an underground parking lot. Although it looks like a somewhat industrial-style and dark, cluttered background, this kind of environment actually highlights the high-reflective texture of the patent leather surface beautifully under the flash. Compared to the crowded inside of the exhibition hall, the garage is slightly dimmer but offers a touch of quietness and the freedom to focus on posing. The combination of white over-knee socks and black stiletto high heels is also a major plus in my opinion; the white over-knee socks visually extend the leg lines, while the patent leather black high heels echo the material of the bodysuit.

In terms of pose selection, these few photos experiment with several different styles. There are poses with both hands raised that lean toward a playful and dynamic feel, as well as relatively upright standing poses. My personal favorite is actually the current cover photo, with one hand on the hip and the other gently touching the edge of the lips. While retaining the character's cute traits, this posture also brings out some maturity and confidence exclusive to the bunny girl style.

Looking back at the behind-the-scenes moments, the process wasn't particularly easy. This black patent leather material has very poor breathability in the relatively sealed space of an indoor parking lot, and with the frequent flashing during the shoot, a stuffy feeling was unavoidable. Furthermore, to maintain the fluffy yet sleek, long texture of the wig, I had to constantly rearrange and tidy it up during shooting intervals. But seeing the final photo results makes all the hard work feel worth it. The shooting atmosphere outside the convention is always wonderful; you meet fellow convention attendees resting outside who cast curious or appreciative glances, and meeting a few times leads to warm, smiling greetings, which is a unique social experience exclusive to attending conventions and outdoor shoots.

Regarding the character Roxy, her teacher-like temperament and occasional cute contrast have always been what attracts me. Choosing to present her in a bunny girl outfit this time was actually to add some more dazzling and visually impactful elements while preserving the character's iconic blue hair and blue eyes. The classic elements of a bunny girl outfit—large bunny ears, a high-waisted cut, and over-knee socks—created a wonderful chemical reaction with Roxy's original image, neither completely deviating from the character's core background nor failing to stand out under the outdoor lenses of the convention. This outdoor garage shoot can be considered a perfect conclusion to the CICF Expo. If I have time in the future, I might attempt more varied Roxy looks.
