As a consultant for the Adventurer's Guild, I happened to finish organizing a new batch of wilderness ecological data near the Fountain Plaza today, and had the photographer record this set of photos showing my daily fieldwork state.
Accompanying the little fellow Lumi on field surveys everywhere on a daily basis requires not only making sure that our bags are always packed with sufficient supplies, but the design of the adventurer outfit must also balance utility and agility. This outfit in the photos indeed had a lot of thought put into it—the white feather headpiece is not just an ornament; when encountering wind in the wilderness, it also helps me quickly judge changes in wind direction. Those red and white layered mecha-style armors on the sleeves look beautifully defined in layers after lighting, and they haven't hindered me from raising my arms to record data or retrieve items from my backpack. The red tactical bag on the back happens to hold many miscellaneous tools, making it convenient for me to open my notebook at any time to sketch those newly discovered biological traits.
Choosing a crouching pose during the shoot is because this angle can naturally restore my habitual movements when observing the surroundings. The natural light by the fountain is excellent, shining translucently through the hair strands and the white hard materials on the shoulders. That chin-resting pose isn't purely for looking good in photos either; it's actually a common focused posture when I cooperate with Lumi. Everyone is full of curiosity about the work of the Adventurer's Guild, often asking me what should be prepared before traveling far. In fact, besides standard wound medicine and enough rations, preparing some small tools that can reflect light or send out signals at night is highly important, because wild terrain is complex and ever-changing, and maintaining clear communication is the number one prerequisite for a safe adventure.
Due to the nature of my work, I am also highly interested in those incredible creatures everyone mentions. The wild world is vast; even though I have browsed through a large number of documents, there are still many biological traits that are not recorded in the encyclopedia. If you really encounter any strange little fellow during your adventure, make sure to observe its appearance and movements clearly from a safe distance first, make a detailed record, and then come to the Guild to verify it with me. This is not only being responsible for your own safety but also helping the Guild further perfect its precious ecological records.
The sunlight has been great lately, and spending some time in such an outdoor photography scene truly makes one feel refreshed. Walking on this path of exploration together with Lumi is inherently filled with many happy moments. This moment frozen by photography has also become a daily microcosm of my consulting work. Finally, a reminder to everyone to take protective measures when doing outdoor activities in ample sunlight, and maintain a good physical state so you can cope with various unknowns with composure.
