For my outfit, I paired a white overlap-collar inner shirt with a wide-sleeved jacket featuring geometric variant patterns and orange gradient accents, finished with dark wide-leg trousers. This design carries traces of traditional attire while benefiting from crisp modern tailoring, remaining true to character settings while offering effortless mobility for poses.
The core visual elements of this shoot were calligraphy and red maples filling the room. Translucent drapes embroidered with cursive calligraphy hung across the space, accented by vibrant red maple leaves to envelop the room in warm hues. The photographer brilliantly utilized side light filtering through wooden lattice windows; that golden afternoon-to-dusk glow bathed my face and props, creating a genuine interplay of light and shade that no post-processing filter could replicate.
Throughout the shoot, I adapted my poses to complement the set. The first series involved holding a thick black notebook and a shoulder bag while looking sideways toward the lens, recreating a quiet state of studying in the study or preparing to head out. Subsequent poses featured picking up a writing brush and unrolling a scroll. Since the photographer employed dynamic tilted compositions, balancing my center of gravity on the chair became a fun challenge—I needed to keep my back straight to highlight a scholar's aura while keeping body lines relaxed and natural. Sitting on the mahogany chair, I pretended to analyze text on the scroll; controlling gaze direction was crucial, subtly shifting my eyes toward props rather than looking straight at the camera to eliminate stiff posing.
The main challenge was managing the calligraphy-laden drapes. If the background were too sharp, it would overwhelm the subject. Thus, the photographer used a wide aperture to softly blur foreground maples and translucent drapes, pinning visual focus sharply on my upper body. I adjusted my head angle along the direction of the light to highlight facial contours. My white ribbon hair accessories and beast ears gained delightful depth under the gentle backlight.

Although many fans know the teaching certificate meme, the character's innate composure—the quiet confidence of a scholar—is best conveyed through subtle expressions. Rather than big smiles or dramatic gestures, a gently lowered eyelid or fingers resting lightly on the edge of a scroll brought out the atmosphere completely.
