[Columbina Cosplay] White Dove Under the Moonlight and Wings of Serenity

This time I tried out Columbina's look from Genshin Impact, putting a lot of thought into everything from the wig trimming to the glitter details on the costume. The white wing decorations on top of my head required repeated angle adjustments to be both secure and look lightweight, and the red and black split hair color looks exceptionally photogenic under the cool-toned lighting. During the shoot, we intentionally selected a dark gray background and hanging translucent ribbons to create a sense of stillness enveloped by moonlight for this atmospheric cosplay. The white dove in the photos is a prop, but to make the interaction more natural, I practiced the holding gesture for a long time, hoping to present the mysterious yet gentle temperament she has in the storyline. The clothing's blue-and-white gradient fabric has a touch of pearlescent texture, and paired with the white straps on the legs, the overall slim-fit tailoring maintains its silhouette even in a sitting pose. The most interesting part of the shooting process was experimenting with different emotions—looking down in deep thought appeared introverted, while holding up the white dove carried the meaning of opening one's heart. The post-processing color grading leans towards a cool palette, which better fits my imagination of this character. To capture that ethereal, otherworldly feeling of the anime girl, I specifically shot barefoot, which, combined with the faint reflection on the floor, gave the frame an extra layer of storytelling. This creation is not only a tribute to the character but also a practice in light, shadow, and still-life composition for cosplay photography. I hope that through this set of photos, the paradoxical innocence and unfathomable depth of Columbina can be conveyed.
