This time, I cosplayed Wang Zhaojun in her original default skin from Honor of Kings. Personally bringing my main signature hero to life and watching anime and gaming lore walk into reality felt genuinely extraordinary. The wardrobe is crafted with rich textural depth, pairing dense white-and-blue plush trims with satin linings and silver-damask textured faux leather. In a crowded comic convention hall, this plush shoulder cape looked breathtakingly opulent, yet it severely tested heat endurance; because the fuzzy edges easily tangled, I constantly had to comb through them backstage to maintain flawless fur direction.
Hair and makeup demanded equal devotion. I recut the wig to preserve character volume while thinning the bangs to let my eyes appear clearer. To honor the frost-and-snow concept, the eye makeup embraced cool-toned icy blues and fine silver shimmer, paired with matching ice-blue contact lenses to heighten a cool, aloof detachment. To balance the ornate hat adorned with rhombic gems and fur borders, I drew the brows with a subtle upward slant and picked a muted cool-toned rose lip color to achieve chromatic unity across the face.
Within the whole styling, the standout visual feature was unquestionably the gradient Stockings—flowing seamlessly from sheer sheer-white on the upper thighs to solid deep blue at the ankles. Paired with color-matched open-toe stiletto heels, they offered striking elongation for the leg lines, yet demanded strict leg muscle control. Walking an entire day across convention floors in heels of this height was a monumental physical test. The fitted blue gloves hugged the skin snugly, though gripping the heavy staff for hours left noticeable pressure marks.
The prop staff was substantial: the intricate silver-and-blue ice crystal cluster atop was crafted with meticulous care, specially treated inside for crystalline translucency. However, this substantially increased its weight; holding it aloft one-handed for extended poses exerted huge wrist strain, requiring conscious core engagement to keep the shoulders from hunching up on camera.
This shoot featured both themed set photos and clean studio-style backdrops. The booth featuring red autumn maples created a vibrant warm-and-cool contrast with the blue-and-white regalia, looking exceptionally cinematic. Before solid backgrounds, to showcase the garment's streamlined silhouette and figure proportions, I struck a seated posture with crossed legs, utilizing the continuous lines of the heels and Stockings to extend visual height. Wang Zhaojun's demeanor demands poise, dignity, and noble pride, so the gaze must remain steadfast and the arm lines during spellcasting stances must stay fluid and expansive. Despite the intricate wardrobe layers and formidable prop weight, flawlessly recreating and showcasing my ultimate main hero from the game is an unmatched, rewarding joy.
