This set of Fate/Grand Order Koyanskaya cosplay featuring the Modern Cheongsam look is finally compiled. Prior to the shoot, I specifically focused on fitness and body management to ensure I could pull off this form-fitting cheongsam flawlessly. Upon arriving at the studio, seeing the pink-purple lighting cast against the central moon gate backdrop created a neo-Chinese ambiance that perfectly suited this character shoot.

As for the wig and animal ears, it took nearly an hour of micro-adjustments to make them sit naturally. The glasses prop enhanced the character's aura of mystery. The costume this time features a snake-pattern texture on black fabric with pink piping; the chest cutout design not only accentuates the character's allure but also adds a touch of playful mockery. The high side slit paired with black patent leather high heels and opera-length black gloves instantly brought out the character's mysterious and seductive presence.

During the shoot, the most challenging part was the high-difficulty single-leg standing pose on the cover. Wearing stiletto heels, standing on one leg not only demanded exceptional balance, but also required keeping my chest out, core tight, and waving a folding fan with an effortless expression. It took substantial core strength to control my posture, leaving my feet quite sore. After dozens of consecutive shots, the photographer finally picked this one with the smoothest leg lines and the most graceful extension.

Paired with fill light from the bottom reflector, it created a reflection effect reminiscent of a water surface. The high side slit combined with the lines of the Stockings made my legs look exceptionally elongated. This is also my absolute favorite shot. In addition, the long gloves and thin-frame glasses were key elements adding both sexy allure and professional sharpness, significantly elevating her commanding aura.

Throughout this shoot, I also tried to deeply channel Koyanskaya's personality traits—she is elegant, sharp, and carries a dangerous edge. Before the lens, I restrained my smiles as much as possible to convey that condescending gaze and effortless, commanding presence. Despite a hectic work schedule, being able to carve out time for such a high-quality Anime cosplay session and savor every second in front of the camera was a truly rare and rewarding experience.

The shoot had plenty of funny moments as well—slight wobbles while balancing on high heels, and various experiments while testing expressions—all of which made the experience much more vivid. The texture of this Modern Cheongsam under the studio lights was fantastic, complementing the Stockings and headpiece while harmonizing seamlessly with the Chinese-aesthetic backdrop. The tailoring hugged the body closely, especially around the chest cutout and high leg slit; to better bring out the character's traits, I spent time practicing expressions and poses in front of the mirror beforehand.

As a cosplayer, bringing every character to life requires extensive communication with the photographer, from executing specific movements to capturing subtle glances. I was already quite exhausted from work on the day of the shoot, but slipping into this heavy preparation and gorgeous ensemble made all fatigue vanish, leaving only pure focus on character portrayal. Sinking into that state of flow is something I deeply enjoy and remains the driving force behind my passion for this craft. The close-up in this photo set effectively utilized the leg and slit placement to create a seamless leading line, focusing visual attention perfectly, which is why I believe it works best as the cover.
