The studio sets had a broad range, spanning from wooden school desks and chairs to a cozy living space with a floral fabric sofa and a piano; switching across multiple scenes truly tests the thematic consistency of the character styling. This blue-and-white sailor-collar off-the-shoulder outfit, paired with over-the-knee white socks and those iconic oversized bunny ears, immediately felt perfect for capturing a fresh, adorable Anime cosplay aesthetic the moment I saw the character design.
For makeup, the focus was on luminosity and expressive eye shaping. I chose a soft, glowing base makeup, using brown tones as an eyeshadow base paired with fine shimmer to bring out vibrant depth in the eyes. For hair, I used a full-volume white wig; the stylist spent considerable time adjusting the bangs and wisps around the ears to ensure a full, plush look without appearing top-heavy. Once dressed, the blue striped trim on the sailor collar, the fluffy white pom-poms on the cuffs and hem, and the small bunny plushie pinned to the outfit made the wearing experience surprisingly lightweight.

As an Azur Lane player, bringing Laffey's charm to life through physical costumes and real sets is truly a meaningful, ritualistic experience. From makeup tests to shooting and photo selection, communication with the team was seamless; being able to express freely in the studio and capture the essence of Laffey cosplay in this Anime cosplay session was pure, straightforward joy.
