Bringing this Honkai Impact 3rd Elysia Cosplay photoshoot to life took roughly two weeks of preparation across styling, wardrobe, and practical set shooting. From custom tailoring patterns to wig pruning, I wanted every nuance to look flawless before the lens. We chose a vintage greenhouse studio for the session. The red-and-white dress carries an inherently opulent texture—the golden diamonds and heart insignia across the bust, the scarlet striping on the sleeve gauntlets, and the cascading tiers of soft pink tulle along the skirt were all meticulously crafted to honor the original character design. The beret headwear was adorned with red and white roses paired with feathers; adding pointed elf-ear prosthetics brought the styling to an exceptionally high level of completion. The wig was a soft pastel pink, and I layered the bangs and face-framing locks to soften facial contours. Makeup emphasized an elongated eye shape, paired with light-toned contact lenses to achieve that signature tender, spirited gaze. The lower half was styled with white pantyhose in this White tights cosplay coordination, which, framed by the voluminous flared skirt, naturally elongated the leg lines during seated poses for gorgeous visual proportions.

Blessed with brilliant sunshine on shoot day, the photographer used sheer drapery and backlighting angles to create an ethereal, diffused halo. The sparkling bokeh and floating embers were introduced during post-processing to heighten that whimsical fairytale aesthetic. We staged vintage gilded frames, wooden easels, and lush floral bouquets to cultivate the ambiance of an afternoon garden. From a structural perspective, the neckline and cuffs fit snugly, while the sheer tulle of the skirt required constant smoothing between takes to retain a lush, billowing volume. Wig maintenance was equally demanding: bangs needed controlled, airy fluffiness without clinging flat to the forehead, while the long cascading hair fell gracefully with movement, all while keeping synthetic fibers static-free. To complement this pink-and-white palette, the base makeup was kept dewy and pristine, with soft pink eye shadow contouring the sockets, accented by delicate lashes to widen the eyes and finished with a glossy, glass-finish pink lip tint. Wearing elf-ear prosthetics deliberately elevated the non-human elven aesthetic.

For the live-action studio work, the set integrated gilded frames, white sheer curtains, multicolored blossoms, and a fluffy white rug spread across the floor. In lighting, we favored a natural daylight feel, using softboxes and bounce reflectors to trace luminous rim lights across my silhouette. Because many seated and reclining poses highlighted the legs, the white hosiery resonated beautifully with the white rug, while the photographer leveraged medium-to-telephoto focal lengths to compress the space and isolate the character cleanly. Post-production artists later added shimmering particle effects to lend the visuals dynamic, dreamy depth. During takes, I held white roses to anchor hand poses—whether dozing peacefully, resting on my side, or extending blossoms outward—always keeping my neck and shoulders relaxed so the sheer dress panels fluttered organically. Portraying Elysia revealed her incredible artistic range, balancing sweetness with gentle elegance. The intricate set and vibrant blossoms meant I had to maintain strong postural core balance to avoid getting visually lost in the lavish background. This session deepened my grasp over Anime cosplay aesthetics: from prop placement to micro-adjusting bodily angles, every element must harmonize with the character's soul to deliver not only striking visual impact, but genuine atmospheric depth.
