The stars and moon bring the child of God; happy birthday, Elysia. This shoot features a commemorative bridal cosplay theme for Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd. The scene was set inside the studio, completed in coordination with real physical props.

Let's talk about the costume part first, which took the most thought. This white gauze dress was privately customized by Yueqi. The materials used for the entire garment are highly complex, with a large amount of fine lace and light gauze layered on the outer side, and an anti-exposure lining layer beneath. The white main body is adorned with light purple floral decorations, which were individually shaped and sewn on, rather than being simple glued patches. The belt area is the highlight of the entire gown; golden hollowed-out metal components combine into geometric patterns, inlaid with colorful iridescent mirrors. Paired with fluffy white lace long gloves on the arms and golden three-dimensional rose accessories at the wrists, the lightweight feel of the entire dress is excellently achieved. Although there are many layers, it doesn't feel as heavy as imagined when worn, and the drape of the gauze looks very beautiful when walking around, yielding an elegant and flowing effect.

The makeup and hair styling for the head are also packed with details. The wig is a short pink hair style with straight bangs. The hair strands are very smooth, and because the volume is quite abundant, the bangs were trimmed into an airy, wispy shape to avoid stiffness. The elf ears are made of silicone, fitting directly onto the ear shells. After reinforcement with glue, the transition between them and the wig basically shows no obvious flaws. The colored contact lenses were chosen to have a purple-toned polarized effect, which, in coordination with the overall light pink eyeshadow and warm-toned lip color, brings the facial expressions closer to the character's unique gentleness and ethereal nature.

The set arrangement on the day of the shoot went with a minimalist garden style. White Roman columns were used in the scene, with translucent light gauze hung in some places, and a silver-textured candelabra along with a matching hollowed-out birdcage placed in the corner. Beaded strings hung in the air, traversing the frame and reflecting twinkling pinpoints of light under the illumination. The airborne, fluttering state of the pink wig ends in the photos was a dynamic effect achieved in coordination with an electric fan.

As a commemorative set of photos, the overall concept for the post-processing was a cool, soft-light texture. The original negatives intentionally had facial reflections controlled during the shoot to retain the three-dimensional dimension of the facial features. The post-production focus lay in deepening the layers of the white gauze, especially the folds of the skirt hem and the translucency against backlighting. Reflections on the golden accessories were also brightened individually to make the metal material look less rigid.

Since white clothing can easily turn out overexposed or look washed-out and grey in a studio setting, the photographer and I spent a considerable amount of time adjusting the light sources and the color temperature of the backdrop. We tried to suppress the greyness of the background while ensuring the gentleness of the character's face, letting the character herself stand out clearly within this practice of Anime-style photography.

Shooting this set of photos was actually quite tiring, especially the combination of high heels and stockings. Although it looks very beautiful, after a long shoot, the discomfort in my legs became quite noticeable. However, seeing the final photo results, I still feel that these efforts were completely worth it for this Elf cosplay.

On this day belonging to the character's birth, celebrating her with a full photo set like this is a very unique experience for me. She is not just a virtual character, but more like a radiant presence. That's all for this sharing session.
