[Wishadel cosplay] Arknights' Techwear Styling - Image 1

Putting together this Wishadel styling required investing a lot of thought into selecting the costume materials. As everyone can see from the photos, the outer jacket features a large area of black leather spliced with a bright red lining. To present this rigid and glossy texture under lighting, I chose a relatively thick eco-leather material, ensuring the jacket's silhouette wouldn't collapse even when making large movements during the shoot. The inner crop top is similarly made of reflective material, featuring zipper and grid details on the chest; to closely fit the body shape, the tailoring was slightly cinched, which, paired with the complex red-and-black straps on the shorts, firmly established the overall techwear style. This outfit features an abundance of straps—not merely decorative, some need to thread through the shorts' belt loops and the leather rings at the waist, requiring a bit of time to adjust the tightness during dressing and undressing to ensure it doesn't look too tight or baggy when squatting or kneeling, while also guaranteeing that the red straps and black base form a distinct sense of layering.

For the wig part, for Wishadel's signature silver-white medium-short choppy hair, I trimmed many layers to make it look casual yet not messy. The pair of red geometric angular hair accessories on top of the head was secured firmly with clips, preventing them from falling off even during relatively large movements while shooting. To match the hair color, the eyebrows were similarly given a light-colored treatment. In terms of makeup, to match the character's temperament, I deliberately used red-toned circle lenses, deepened the eyeshadow blending, slightly upturned the eyeliner, and chose a relatively lighter lip color to highlight the visual focus of the eyes. The overall makeup leans toward a 2D anime style, trying my best to make the gaze look more spirited.

When shooting this set of photos, I wanted to present a state that is both slightly cool and badass yet retains a playful vibe. Therefore, I designed a posture of kneeling on one knee on a white round platform, with my right hand making a V-sign and my left hand resting naturally on the waist strap. This posture wonderfully showcases the shorts' strap design and leg lines, while the oversized jacket draped loosely half-off the shoulders adds composition layering. To keep the wide sleeves from looking dragging, I used a few pins and hidden snaps internally to slightly secure the direction of the sleeve cuffs, letting them drape naturally. Since the background was a pure white seamless paper, I used relatively even flat lighting without overly harsh light sources, mainly aimed at brightening the leather jacket's texture while giving the silver-white hair edges a gorgeous highlight transition, avoiding the edges blending into the background.

The silver leg rings on the thighs are actually an excellent finishing touch, adding a metallic cool feel to the overall black-and-red color scheme, while filling the leg's blank space and pulling the visual focus downward. The platform black boots on the feet were also chosen to make the lower body's visual center of gravity more stable. The character Wishadel inherently carries a bit of rebellion and technological feel, so I tried my best to amplify these elements in my styling and posing. To make the techwear style even more intense, I specially checked the metal side-release buckles and zipper pulls on the costume to ensure they reflected light before the lens, not letting even the tiny details at the jacket collar go unnoticed. The post-processing for this set mainly emphasized the material's glossiness and color contrast, avoiding overly exaggerated skin smoothing while retaining partial light-and-shadow transitions to make the leather jacket's folds and reflections look more authentic. I hope this photo set successfully conveys Wishadel's unique aura.
