This time, I'm bringing you an official photoshoot of Amiya, the Lord of Fiends from Arknights (Amiya cosplay), which embraces an aesthetic radically different from her usual sweet and gentle styling. As the Rhodes Island CEO, the facet of the Sarkaz Lord of Fiends that emerges after enduring countless trials and tribulations carries an immensely powerful visual impact. Referring to her as the "Demon King Bunny" is genuinely fitting. To faithfully portray this look, significant dedication went into every stage—from early makeup and styling preparation to on-set emotional calibration.
Costume-wise, this white dress features elaborate structural nuances. Beyond the voluminous puffed sleeves, the hem and edges are heavily distressed with charred and torn gradient treatments, with black creeping up from the bottom to convey a poignant sense of brokenness. The sharp black shoulder spikes and dark metallic neckpiece inject rigid, authoritarian lines into the silhouette. To match this disposition, I opted for a cool-toned makeup palette, deepening the eye contours paired with bright blue contact lenses to give my gaze an intense, detached focus. The black starburst crown of thorns paired with the fluffy rabbit ears and encircling head chains served as crucial elements in capturing the character's canonical identity. Although the plush rabbit ears are inherently adorable, juxtaposing them against the menacing metallic edges of the crown instantly generated a striking contrast.
The shoot was held in a pristine white cyclorama studio utilizing cool-toned lighting. The clean, seamless background eliminated any distracting elements, funneling absolute visual focus onto the character and props. The stark contrast of black and white, paired with the dress hem fading into darkness, displayed magnificently within the studio space. The cool lighting not only emphasized the rich textures of the garments, but also rendered skin tones extraordinarily clear and crystalline.
The cracked black egg-shaped prop cradled in my hands was the focal point of the photoshoot. Photos 1 and 3 feature postures holding this egg; with glowing white fractures crisscrossing its dark surface and illumination radiating from within, it provided a striking visual centerpiece. During shooting, I cradled it in both hands, letting internal light spill out from beneath and to the side, casting an underglow across my hands and chin. The seated pose in Photo 2 was one of my favorites from the session—legs crossed, one arm extended outwards resting against the dark cape, and the other hand securing the artifact. This posture demanded calculated bodily tension; while my legs were bare without stockings, going barefoot alongside the torn, frayed hemline organically mirrored the unadorned, raw reality of a character weathered by tragic destiny. When arranging the sweeping black tulle cape, careful control over its drape allowed the fabric to pool naturally across the white floor, stretching visual depth across the frame.
The entire shooting process was intense and rigorous, with most of the time devoted to repositioning key lights and experimenting with poses. While the crown was visually stunning, its tangible weight meant maintaining specific head and neck angles demanded serious stamina. Nevertheless, seeing that cool, solemn, and subtly mournful atmosphere captured with razor-sharp precision in camera made every bit of invested energy feel immensely rewarding. I truly hope this official photoshoot conveys the complex depth of Amiya, the Lord of Fiends from Arknights to everyone who loves this character!
