For this shoot of the Snezhnaya Military Commander Vesna, plenty of effort was put into the early-stage restoration of makeup, styling, and clothing. Genshin Impact's outfit features a very rich material layering; to present that heavy yet gorgeous texture, a glossy satin fabric was used for the base, and the dark blue shawl outside was edged with a thick plush trim. During actual wear and shooting, adjusting how to keep the plush fluffy without appearing bulky took quite a while.

Head details are equally important. The wig was chosen in a style with light blue and mint green gradients; the hair bun on top and the spiral curls on both sides needed repeated reinforcement with hairspray and styling spray to ensure they wouldn't easily scatter when striking poses. The wearing angle of the metal crown was also carefully adjusted to ensure it wouldn't block the line of sight. To recreate the feel of elf ears, skin-toned resin ear pieces were selected, with the edges carefully blended using special effects glue so that seams are basically invisible in the lens.

In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on eye makeup, with blue eyes paired with a blushed gradient, which stands out quite well under vintage lighting. The shooting location was chosen as an indoor space with classical European furniture; the warm yellow lighting combined with the sofa's floral texture had a wonderful collision with Snezhnaya's style. To fit the character's setting, some tsundere micro-expressions were incorporated into the pose design, such as a single-eyed wink, a single-handed peace sign, and a posture pointing the staff and long sword at the lens.

When shooting while sitting, to make the skirt hem's layering look better while showcasing the White stockings and leg lines, I would shift my center of gravity slightly backward, letting the outer dark blue skirt hem spread out naturally. When holding props, wrist strength must be well-controlled—it needs to look powerful without appearing too rigid, which, paired with a slightly tucked-in chin, improves the overall aura significantly. This styling features a lot of metal accessories, requiring constant checks between shots to see if anything is crooked or overly reflective, hoping to present the details of this photo set in the best possible way.
