[Furina Cosplay] Genshin Impact Maid Outfit Furina's Afternoon Dessert Time

The official Genshin Impact Furina maid outfit cosplay photos are finally out! The theme for this shoot was very clear: I wanted to use everyday scenes of enjoying desserts to recreate Furina's lively, cute, and slightly playful personality, rather than relying solely on grand backdrops or complex magical special effects. When I first got this outfit, I felt that she would look incredibly sweet in a maid dress, and pairing it with dessert props turned out to be a match made in heaven.

For the wig, I chose a long, wavy style with a white-and-blue gradient. Since Furina's hair color is highly recognizable, a lot of detailed adjustments were made to the curls and layers of the wig to ensure a natural transition to the light blue at the hair ends. The top was adorned with a wide white ruffled headband and a dark blue bow on the side, adding a touch of girlish sophistication to the overall look. For makeup, I chose clear, ice-blue, large-diameter colored contacts to emphasize the uniqueness of her eyes. The eye makeup intentionally elongated the outer corners with slightly curled eyelashes, which not only makes the eyes look more spirited in front of the camera but also adds a bit of playfulness and liveliness to the expressions. The lip color is a bright strawberry red, contrasting with the white hair to make the overall complexion look healthier and more vibrant.

The texture of the clothing is a major highlight of this outfit. The top is made of a black velvet-like fabric paired with fluffy short puff sleeves, which is not only comfortable but also reflects a high-end, subtle shimmer under the light, making the skin look very fair. The neckline features a wide white ruffled design, perfectly revealing the blue-and-gold pendant in the center, which is a vital visual element of Furina. My favorite detail is the cuffs at the wrists—fine patterns embroidered with gold thread on black lace fabric, sitting perfectly at the wrists to look exceptionally elegant. The waist is also adorned with a blue-green gemstone pendant, making the dark-toned maid outfit pop. A light apricot apron is tied over the black skirt, and the ruffled edges of the apron create a rich sense of layering.

The props used during the shoot were the highlights of the frames: cream cupcakes and an ice-blue spoon. The first photo captures the interactive moment of getting ready to scoop the cream, with eyes focused on the cake, showing an expectant mood. The second photo captures the exact moment of eating it; the texture of the cream sticking to the spoon looks great, and the biting action perfectly displays the details of the makeup. The third photo shows the pose of holding the dessert with both hands. At this time, strawberries and matcha-colored small balls were added to the top of the dessert, making the colors richer. The interaction between the hands and the cake prevents the image from looking monotonous and brings the character closer to the viewer.

For the background, we chose an indoor set decorated with white flower vines and crystal trees. This fresh environment perfectly suits Furina's temperament. The photographer used high-key and soft-lighting techniques to ensure the overall brightness and transparency of the images, making the hair and skin tone look incredibly soft. I intentionally tried to relax my facial muscles during the shoot because Furina inherently carries a sense of relaxation and effortless control, so I tried to look natural and joyful while eating, rather than forced or artificial.

Furina has a unique charm in Genshin Impact; her tsundere nature mixed with approachability, along with the occasional childishness, are well worth carefully pondering during cosplay. This time, through the maid outfit style, her girlishness was amplified. Complemented by the dessert embellishments, the entire set achieved a unity between character temperament and visual style. To match this casual vibe, I avoided sharp post-processing and instead preserved some skin texture to make the photos look more intimate and realistic.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable shooting experience. Being able to taste the delicious props while presenting a beloved character in a lifestyle-oriented way is exactly where the joy of cosplay lies for me. This set can be considered a wonderful recreation of Furina's everyday girlish vibe. I hope everyone can feel her vibrancy and cuteness!
