Slipping into this Blue Archive Shimoe Koharu cosplay outfit and stepping into the prepared classroom set, my mood instantly switched into the Make-Up Work Club atmosphere. The costume details for this shoot are remarkably rich: the long black coat is edged with pink accent lines, paired inside with a white sailor collar and pink bow tie, complete with distinctive insignia badges on the cuffs. The headpieces were the most intricate—combining the pink wig with the red halo, carefully securing the black feathers on both sides and the wing accessories on the back, along with red colored contacts, brought the accuracy right up to expectations.

For props, I prepared a red "Prohibited" sign with a white horizontal bar, which proved extremely versatile during the shoot. In the first set, I chose to sit on a school desk, holding up the sign with one hand while slightly lifting one leg. This pose not only showcased the black leather shoes and white slouch socks, but also infused the composition with a playful sense of attempting to enforce discipline. In my gaze, I deliberately held a hint of aloof tsundere attitude, which created great visual contrast against the pink pleated skirt.

Throughout the shoot, I explored several emotional expressions. In the second photo, I knelt on the floor with my upper body resting against the edge of the desk, letting the back wing accessories spread naturally. This pose was inspired by an exhausted state after study sessions—arms draped over the desktop, gaze spacing out, evoking a relaxed, unguarded vulnerability. At this angle, the photographer utilized side rim lighting to accentuate the folds of the black coat and the fine texture of the hair strands.

The third and fourth photos lean into quiet relaxation. Hugging my knees while sitting on the desk, or sitting straight on the floor with legs stretched forward after slipping off the leather shoes, allowed me to better display leg contours and the texture of the slouch socks. When sitting on the floor, I deliberately set the black shoes aside, keeping only the white socks to add an effortless, candid feel. To keep me centered in the frame, the photographer adjusted to a slightly lower camera angle, capturing the full leg lines while letting the background blackboard and desks frame the silhouette nicely.

Overall, the classroom setting offered immense creative flexibility for Classroom photography. Whether using desks for support or sitting directly on the floor, countless pose ideas naturally emerged. We avoided overly complex lighting setups, relying mostly on ambient daylight and ceiling lights complemented by reflectors. The pink and black palette of the costume popped vividly against the wooden desks and dark blackboard. Cosplaying this character requires paying close attention to wig layering and halo placement—adjusting multiple times before shooting ensures they don't warp across different angles. Once you understand the costume's traits and the set's atmosphere, bringing the entire shoot together becomes a very smooth experience.
