[Kyoyama Kazusa Cosplay] Spring Cherry Blossom Walk with Cat Ears in Blue Archive

Standing under the cherry blossom trees at the edge of the city, wearing this black sailor-collar jacket and white pleated skirt tailored for Kyoyama Kazusa, paired with black tights and black-and-white color-blocked sneakers, I quickly slipped into character. The pinkish-purple ombre highlights specifically prepared at the hair tips, along with the soft cat ears atop my head and that signature pink halo, harmonized beautifully with this spring shooting environment.

The location chosen for this Cherry blossom outdoor scene had a vibrant everyday life vibe—a brick walkway covered with petals, lined by cherry blossom trees in full bloom. To execute the photographer's vision, we experimented with various camera angles. For example, in one photo where I crouched on the brick path, to capture the cat's clever yet lazy feel, I lowered my center of gravity, leaned slightly forward, held the red lollipop prop, and kept my gaze focused on the lens. This crouching posture effectively showcased the pairing proportions of the Black stockings with pleated skirt. Meanwhile, slinging the tactical rifle prop equipped with a bipod made the combination of casual style and the character's unique contrast gap integrate much more naturally.

During the shoot, gusts of wind kicked up lingering cherry blossoms, scattering white petals onto my black cuffs and skirt hem; these fleeting, unexpected moments define the unique magic of outdoor sessions. Beyond standing and crouching poses, we also tried a relaxed state lying on the lawn, eyes closed while soaking in the gentle breeze and grassy fragrance. The photographer's high-angle overhead perspective closely linked my presence with the scattered petals.

Regarding outfit details, the sailor collar features sharp white piping; details like the red necktie under the collar and the black choker enriched the color scheme within a black-and-white base palette. To ensure visual layering, I selected a clear, translucent foundation for makeup, combining soft rose-bean lip color with light red eyeshadow so facial features remained three-dimensional without being overpowered by the floral backdrop. Holding the heavy rifle prop frequently to frame angles fatigued my arms considerably, but the instant the shutter clicked—seeing cat ears, cherry blossoms, and the Black stockings with pleated skirt frame up in the viewfinder—made every bit of effort worth it.

Overall, this spring cherry blossom shoot didn't pursue grand, extravagant sets, choosing instead grounded, everyday locations like urban walkways and lawns. These seemingly casual backdrops proved to be the ultimate stage for showcasing the character's relaxed ease. There was no need to force stiff poses during shooting; naturally crouching, looking back, or tasting the lollipop captured vivid, captivating moments for Anime-style photography. I really love the output from this session; dappled light and shadow cast over the outfit added authentic textures to the fabric. Completing this shoot in such wonderful weather felt like capturing the most beautiful moments of a fleeting spring.
