The rose dress chosen for this shoot has always been a very iconic version of Rikka's classic looks in my heart. From receiving the costume to the official shoot, it took quite a long time to prepare, as this outfit demands exceptionally high standards for detailed execution in Rose dress accurate reproduction.

For base makeup, I applied a paler tone to closely match her canonical skin tone, combined with subtly contoured eyeshadow and natural lip color to enhance the overall Anime cosplay feel.

Bandages and glove styling details were also critical. The long black opera glove on the left arm featured a matte texture that lowered overall brightness so the look wouldn't be overly reflective everywhere. The white bandage on the right hand was self-wrapped; to look aesthetically pleasing, I paid close attention to wrapping tightness and tucking ends neatly so hand gestures looked expressive without the bandages unraveling during shooting.

The shooting environment on the day played a crucial role. Steps next to an outdoor green belt were chosen as the primary setting, where background green bamboo groves and small white flowers perfectly softened the heaviness of dark-toned garments. Shadows cast by natural sunlight fell right onto the wall behind; a sideways sitting pose coupled with a raised hand gesture elegantly extended my body silhouette while showing off black stocking textures and Mary Jane shoes.

Doing an outdoor shoot in full cosplay outfit genuinely tests stamina and mobility, requiring controlled movement while walking in full attire including stockings and heels. However, seeing how well the camera captured the character's aura made every effort feel completely worthwhile.
