As the customer service character Dialyn from Zenless Zone Zero, today's convention photos were focused on maintaining the sleek and capable feel of the original character design. The overall look features a stark black-and-white contrasting color scheme. The pair of red, white, and black plush round hair ornaments on top of the head serves as the visual centerpiece of the hairstyle, complemented by thick, long braided pigtails of different colors on each side, creating a striking contrasting atmosphere. As for the costume, the top utilizes a halter-neck sleeveless design with a red ribbon tie at the neckline and clean geometric paneling across the chest. Combined with detached black-and-white pieced sleeves and ruffled trim, it faithfully reproduces the distinct details of her uniform.

Wearing this outfit actually feels quite lightweight, but because of the relatively complex accessory layout on the upper body, constant attention was required when adjusting my center of gravity and posture. The bottom half consists of a white apron-style miniskirt with black safety shorts underneath, paired with pure white over-the-knee stockings and black platform loafers. This classic combination visually elongates the leg line, perfectly fitting the character's dual attributes of being suited for both office work and physical activity.

The joy of anime cosplay lies in building a sense of reality through faithful detail restoration. Beyond the main outfit, the lighting conditions at the convention venue provided an ideal space for this shoot. The open white ceiling above offered natural diffuse light, while the photographer set up several large black umbrellas on site to adjust key and fill lights. This allowed my skin, fabric textures, and the gloss of the black and white wig to be clearly captured in front of the lens, especially when facing the light source sideways.

Today's shoot tried three different poses to express various sides of the character. The first photo chose a stable standing pose with arms slightly raised and spread out, maximizing the presentation of full-body proportions. The second photo shifted to a dynamic one-legged stance—flipping the left black braid while lifting the right leg not only highlighted the white stockings and black loafers on the lower body, but also made my overall vibe look much more lively and playful. The third photo, resting against a white pillar, felt more like a casual moment captured amid the bustle of the convention; the horizontal composition allowed the heavy black and white braided pigtails to present a wild yet orderly visual effect.

Wearing this costume at the convention definitely turned a lot of heads, as both the color scheme and headwear have very high recognition in the crowd. Outfits of this style demand flawless neatness in photos, particularly regarding the crisp drape around the collar and waist, so I kept paying close attention to keeping everything tidy. Beyond routine adjustments, capturing dynamic tension is a highlight moment for cosplay—it requires holding body extension within a fraction of a second, working in sync with the shutter to preserve that feeling of weightless grace.

Although the shooting process required constant position adjustments to adapt to changing backgrounds and lighting, seeing the final photos successfully restore the character's distinct personal style filled me with complete satisfaction. All the running around inside the venue, as well as the time and energy spent maintaining the hairstyle and overall look, were transformed into the best visual reward the moment the shutter clicked. Even though the environment was noisy, as long as I stood in front of the lens and immersed myself in the character's emotions, it was easy to overcome outside distractions.

This customer-service-exclusive outfit, combined with specially crafted hair accessories and pom-pom details, gave the character's elements a far more three-dimensional feel than a flat 2D concept design. The combination of white stockings and black shoes anchored the stability of the lower body design. In convention photos where complex poses aren't required, quietly conveying the character's inner spirit and disposition is a unique form of expression in itself.

For the makeup choice of this look, I intentionally used a very clean base with matte setting powder to avoid greasy glares under flash photography. For the eyes, instead of using flashy colors, I opted for a soft yellow shimmer accent at the inner corners, allowing the eyes to retain clarity even in bright lighting. The lip color used was a natural bean paste shade, harmonizing with the predominantly black-and-white outfit without drawing attention away.

Maintaining the hair setup was quite a test of wig quality due to these two massive twin tails. Combing and smoothing them before shooting was essential to prevent frizz and static electricity. Additionally, during larger movements, the weight of the braids caused noticeable swaying—though this was actually a huge advantage for dynamic shots, as the fluid motion created by the swinging pigtails felt much more natural and lively than a static pose. After finishing the shoot, I felt immensely refreshed; this workplace-style anime cosplay actually carries a lot of approachable charm. Although this outfit possesses strong stylized features, putting it on and stepping in front of the camera instantly pulls you into the character's working state, allowing you to experience the magical power that the hobby of cosplay imparts onto everyday attire.
