This shoot brought to life Cirno from Touhou Project. From preparing the costume and props to stepping into the studio, the timeline was by no means short. To accentuate voluminous flare in the light blue-and-white dress, I wore a petticoat underneath; while the tiered lace and ruffled borders looked enchanting, dressing properly required genuine patience. For the wig, I selected silky, straight aqua-blue locks that draped smoothly to convey an airy lightness, with blunt bangs cut just above the eyebrows to pair with blue contact lenses, establishing a harmonious, frosty tonal foundation.

The set design aligned impeccably with the theme: the crew at Miku Studio lined the floor with a plush white faux-fur carpet simulating fresh snowbanks, interspersed with 3D blue geometric crystal prisms, while oversized white snowflake boards and sheer chiffon drapes crafted scenic depth in the background. Such an environment is hypersensitive to specular bounces, so photographer 'Warrior of Love Mayo 13' continually recalibrated reflectors to ensure skin tones remained translucent and natural.

To faithfully embody the Fairy of Ice's frosty yet endearing clumsiness, I designed several subtle gestures. In frame one, reclining sideways across the snow carpet while poking my cheek with a fingertip created an innocent gaze; in frame two, leaning forward with an outstretched hand broke flat planar perspective to enhance interactive dynamism with the lens; in frame three, glancing back over my shoulder with a peace sign showcased the full coordinate alongside the ice wings attached to my back. Oversized bows worn along the arms coupled with the translucent, glitter-infused ice wings cast mesmerizing refractive halos whenever shifting under studio lights. These props were crafted using specialized UV resin and metallic glitter flakes, making them gorgeous yet prone to scratches, demanding delicate care during adjustments between takes.

In makeup, I pursued a clean, dewy look: a lightweight, breathable base paired with chilly, understated eyeshadow blending that echoed the blue contact lenses. Foregoing harsh eyeliner and heavy false lashes, I separated each lash cleanly with mascara and dusted soft blush high across the cheek apples to inject youthful vitality. The combination of White stockings and black Mary Jane leather shoes channels quintessential 2D styling, requiring careful steps across the rug to avoid transferring any sole marks onto pristine white areas.

The entire shoot unfolded seamlessly thanks to the photographer's masterful eye for framing and effortless communication. Posing sitting or lying across the carpet while wrangling expansive props was truly a physical workout, demanding constant vigilance over skirt drapery and wig alignment. To keep every shot immaculate, we frequently used lint rollers to lift stray carpet fuzz off the fabric. Nevertheless, bringing this vision to life within an ideal snowy setting and capturing every fine nuance of the props and dress made the entire creative journey thoroughly rewarding.
