This time, I presented the Takanashi Hoshino Korean Cafe collaboration outfit, counting it as a personal breakthrough. Combining the opportunities of Firefly ACG Expo and Guangzhou Anime Convention, I wanted to land this cafe-related collaboration look in a life-like daily scene. From the color selection of the costume, the combination of blue, white, and pink is highly refreshing, and paired with the iconic halo element, daily outings become exceptionally eye-catching. Regarding accessories, a relatively faithful modification was made to the details of this halo, keeping the texture lightweight without looking heavy. The hairstyle adopts long straight pink hair; both the bangs and hair color were adjusted according to the references. Cooperating with the outdoor light in the background, it creates a leisurely daily vibe, satisfying every pink hair enthusiast. It was midday during the shoot, so the light was a bit strong, but the photographer @OrangePeel utilized side-backlight to pull the entire atmosphere very soft. Many cosplayers worry that this type of daily clothing lacks visual tension, but in fact, as long as you find the right posture to interact with the scene, it still possesses strong screen expressiveness. For instance, leaning against lockers or crouching on steps can fully exhibit the character's casual nature. The venue this time was actually a highly ordinary street locker area, but through compositional selection, the scene became rich with a narrative feel. For cosplay, it is not just about indoor studio shoots; walking into real environments and fusing with real-life light and shadow is also a way to restore the character's soul. I specially visited a Japanese-style cafe near the convention for this styling, and that relaxed atmosphere fit the character's state beautifully. In terms of props, I prepared two drinks with different packaging, which served as excellent interactive elements during the shoot. The only minor pity was not waiting for the real aroma of coffee, so I could only imagine it in post-processing. Overall, the comfort of this outfit is highly superb; the combination of a denim skirt and high-heeled sandals elongated proportions, allowing for comfortable walking and posing outdoors. I hope to bring a touch of freshness to friends who like this character at this Guangzhou Anime Convention. From conception to execution, the whole process was filled with anticipation, and many minor problems during shooting were resolved. Actually, when encountering this half-body or daily-style cosplay, the hardest part is how to maintain the character's traits. I tried fixing the halo at the parting of the hair, preventing it from tilting due to large movements, and the angles in these photos should all be quite good. Since the scene setting leans toward daily life, the expression management was kept as natural as possible, without needing to pose aggressive expressions like combat characters. The sunlight sprinkled on the pink hair, reflecting a highly natural luster, and the colors straight out of the original camera were already very satisfying. The final selected photos basically exhibit all the highlights of this collaboration look, and I hope everyone can also feel the relaxed, happy mood of this shoot.
