[Takanashi Hoshino cosplay] Blue Archive: Signature Cat girl Aesthetic Styling

This set features Takanashi Hoshino from Blue Archive. After trimming the twin tails of the wig to the right curvature, they were tied off with small red hairbands. To faithfully recreate her heterochromia, I specifically wore one blue and one amber-yellow contact lens, adjusting the eye shape with makeup. The cat-ear props at the crown and the suspended pink geometric halo were reinforced before the shoot to ensure they wouldn't slip during dynamic poses.

For the wardrobe, I selected a loose-fitting white long-sleeved top with an intentionally wide neckline, allowing one shoulder to be casually revealed with a gentle tug to channel Hoshino's habitual lazy, easygoing vibe. Below, I paired it with pink ruffled shorts, with the highlight being these over-the-knee White stockings. I deliberately chose a pair with a matte texture and snug wrap that naturally accentuates the soft curves of the legs—delivering the coveted Thick thighs silhouette. Accompanying this was a large white fluffy tail prop anchored securely to the waist with a hidden belt to keep movements flexible for this Cat girl look.

For indoor lighting, a softbox served as the key light, with the bed as the primary shooting area. To align with the character's aura, the poses were designed to be relaxed and natural. When reclining sideways, paying attention to dropping the waist and crossing the legs added depth to the frame. A seated frontal posture elongated leg lines, letting the boundary between the White stockings and the hem of the shorts form a subtle indentation highlighting Thick thighs, which, paired with downturned eye corners and an innocent expression, captured Hoshino's deceptively dazed yet sharp state of mind. The photographer lowered the camera angle slightly to better flatter physical proportions.

During shooting, the pigmentation of the colored contacts and the fluffiness of the wig heavily impacted the hit rate of great shots. The overall color grading was maintained within a low-saturation pastel pink-and-white palette to match the character's original aesthetic. This signature look brought together stockings, Thick thighs, and Cat girl elements, yielding results that genuinely met expectations. The session took roughly three hours exploring various poses, and these two selected cuts represent the best state overall.
