[Takanashi Hoshino cosplay] Autumn Limited, Hoshino in the Bald Cypress Forest

This time, I chose the bald cypress forest in Huangpu Jiulong Lake Park for a session of photography in Guangzhou, and it turned out to match beautifully with Hoshino's autumn cosplay outfit. The leaves of the bald cypress have entered the color-changing stage, showing a very beautiful orange-red from afar. The straight tree trunks in the background and the dry grass on the ground create an overall atmosphere that perfectly fits the slightly warm and lazy daily vibe of Abydos from Blue Archive.

As for the costume, this off-white knit sweater feels great, and the design of the neckline and cuffs has a nice accuracy. Paired with a khaki pleated skirt, brown leather shoes, and matching long white socks, the overall color palette looks very soft in this forest. The wig is custom long pink hair, and the small halo on top of the head and the hair accessories were secured in position beforehand, causing no shifting issues.

During the shoot, the photographer used backlighting to capture the glow on the hair strands and the edges of the skirt. A few snapshots of running and turning around caught a natural state, but the poses of looking down to eat and leaning against the railing required me to adjust slowly, trying my best to make the movements look casual, as a relaxed state is essential to bring out a casual daily feel. Although walking back and forth and going up and down slopes in the woods was more tiring than expected, after seeing the final photos, I found all these early adjustments of details were totally worth it. This set of photos records a very comfortable outing state during the autumn holiday, which is quite consistent with the feeling the character herself gives.
