Sharing the gathering dinner and group photos from the Sui Family Gathering! This time was mainly about "heading home for a meal" with my older brothers, older sisters, and younger brothers. Cosplaying Dusk from Arknights, I carefully adjusted the teal highlights on the wig and the placement of the antler horns. Red eye makeup paired with black hair and flame-patterned gloves—step by step, everything was refined until I was satisfied before heading out. To convey that cool, aloof yet subtly warm feeling of the character, I tested and tweaked the eye and lip makeup repeatedly. The body art markings on my arms were airbrushed on, which took a lot of time, but seeing the final result gave a great sense of accomplishment.

Everyone was in such a relaxed state in the gathering dinner photos. A table filled with vegetables, meat, and various takeout containers, with everyone passing food to one another. Sometimes, because moving in cosplay outfits is rather clumsy and arms couldn't stretch far enough, we had to rely on neighbors to pass things over. The assortment of gloves and painted arms stood out vividly across the dining table, creating an amazing contrast. The joy of a Behind-the-scenes gathering lies in this casual, down-to-earth vibe. Red apples on the table, fresh green vegetables in clear bags, blue arms intertwined with golden gloves—all forming an authentically joyful scene.

The booth group photo was also part of the routine. Brothers and sisters gathered together, clutching plush toys, with wigs, horns, and beast ears intermingling alongside all kinds of sparkling colored contacts. Taking a group photo is always a test because positioning has to be adjusted to make sure everyone is framed well. Luckily, the photos turned out great, maxing out the atmosphere. Everyone's color tones coordinated harmoniously, and the colorful wigs looked exceptionally photogenic against the starry sky backdrop of the poster.

The most fun part was actually the photos after returning to the break room. Having been active for the entire day, everyone was utterly exhausted. I saw the white-haired sibling's headpiece hanging halfway off, the blonde one leaning back in a chair resting with closed eyes, and others slumped across tables or leaning against walls. That state of leaning on each other to rest truly gave off the feeling of: "This is family." The lighting in the break room wasn't great with dim pendant lights, but seeing everyone resting against each other for a quick nap was incredibly authentic.

The Polaroids were also only checked once developed; compared to digital photos, they have an extra touch of authentic charm, and the slightly yellowed borders make them wonderful keepsakes. Even if we don't gather as often in the future, looking at this photo will bring back memories of going home for dinner that day. Having been in this community for so long, nothing feels more comfortable than cosplaying characters from the same title together in Casual cosplay, and then gathering around a table to share a meal during breaks. Looking forward to our next Sui Family Gathering, just like every homecoming—joyful, comforting, and grounded.
