During the prep phase for this Seed cosplay White techwear outfit with sci-fi flair, I spent a lot of time deliberating over fabric choices. To align closely with the character's lightweight and futuristic design, I ultimately selected a smooth, semi-translucent white fabric for the main top, styled in a halter-neck cut. This design elongates the neckline visually and highlights shoulder contours, while the metallic cross ornament at the collar, the front yellow zig-zag accents, and the asymmetrical black strap details accurately capture the iconic focal points of this Cosplay outfit. The cinched waist tailoring is spot on; paired with black metal buckles, it cleanly traces the waistline, working in harmony with the white skinny trousers below to optimize body proportions.

The white skinny trousers on the bottom are another crucial highlight. The cut had to hug the legs snugly to recreate the sleek, clean curves seen in the original game art. Black geometric cutout textures on the thighs and specialized seam paneling around the knees add functional layering and Futuristic styling to the pure white look. Rather than wearing shoes, I went completely barefoot, which was a vital step in replicating the character's setting. While the indoor tile floor is smooth, standing steadily on that customized large yellow-and-gray hoverboard prop while managing phone camera focus truly tested my balance and core stability.

Speaking of the balance board prop, its construction and weight were much more complex than anticipated. The base features a yellow-and-gray color scheme, with edge grip strips and overall thickness specifically refined. The silver finish on the handlebar was treated with multiple layers of paint and detail decals to simulate authentic mechanical textures and assembly seams. The prop itself carries substantial weight, requiring considerable effort every time I repositioned it. Before shooting, just securing its center of balance took plenty of trial and error, fearing it might tip over during posing.

For the wig, I selected a pale ice-blue style. Under soft indoor lighting, this cool-toned bluish tint balances the futuristic chill of the overall look without appearing overly harsh. For the hair wefts and silver plate ornaments on the headpiece, I used magnetic attachments, making it easy to fine-tune their placement based on camera angles. In terms of makeup, to complement the techwear vibe, I emphasized depth in the eye makeup to make the gaze sharper, while keeping the base makeup clean and fresh to highlight the sci-fi aesthetic.

Taking mirror selfies at home is genuinely a test of patience. With limited distance between the phone lens and the vanity mirror, capturing a full-body shot required holding the phone at specific heights, sometimes even having to stand on tiptoes. To find the most natural poses that channel the character's personality, I repeatedly experimented with various stances: standing on both feet, gripping with one hand, and lifting one leg backward. Every adjustment of the center of gravity aimed to capture that effortless, free-spirited vibe unique to sci-fi characters.

This intricate two-piece outfit combined with the distinct hoverboard prop certainly imposed constraints on an at-home solo shoot. Yet it was precisely these limitations that pushed me to focus even more closely on recreating every costume detail. Stepping barefoot onto the cold mechanical prop felt a bit chilly, but that tactile sensation closed the distance between me and the character. Through the mirror reflection, the Futuristic styling and sci-fi atmosphere of this look were firmly delivered. Every refinement of the prop and adjustment to the garment served as solid backbone for the final photos.
