[Cersea cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Diva's Garden Tea Party

Today's shoot features the diva Cersea (Cersea cosplay) from Zenless Zone Zero. Let's first talk about the costume design: the outer layer is a vivid green loose-fitting cropped jacket made of fabric with a subtle sheen, giving it incredible texture under studio lights. The inner top combines geometric panels of white and blue, paired with a white grid-textured skirt and brown waist accents for rich dimensional layering. To recreate the character's hairstyle, I wore a medium-length curly wig in blue-green tones, topped with custom-made blue horn-shaped hair accessories. Paired with reddish-purple contact lenses and soft red eye shading, I did my best to convey that mysterious and elegant aura.

The shooting location was styled as a European greenhouse garden. White Roman pillars and wrought-iron chairs formed the primary structure, surrounded by pink roses, sunflowers, and lush greenery, along with white birdcages and a round table laden with delicate afternoon tea treats. The prop details were spot-on—from mini cakes to teaware, they helped me immerse into character much faster.

The entire shoot was a joy, collaborating seamlessly with Cecilia (Cecilia cosplay) @wowo. Because the outfit design is quite bold with off-the-shoulder cuts and a mini skirt, we tested numerous poses to bring out the most flattering lines for the camera. For instance, when seated on the wrought-iron chair, I extended my legs naturally, using the strappy heel design to visually elongate the silhouette. In the floor-seated shot, I shifted my weight to one side with the other leg gently bent, which not only displayed the layered drape of the skirt but also lent a relaxed, composed posture.

Lighting played a decisive role in this setup. To accentuate the satin sheen of the green jacket while keeping the white inner garments clean, we constantly tweaked fill-light angles. To avoid harsh facial shadows, I angled my torso slightly so light grazed the illuminated planes of my face. The wide shot standing beside the Roman pillar demanded commanding poise: lifting an arm slightly, keeping fingertips relaxed, and turning mid-motion to capture that aloof, elevated distance.

For facial expressions, I continually contemplated Cersea's persona. As a celebrated diva, she possesses brilliant stage presence yet harbors untold secrets. The line "You'll keep my secret, won't you?" was the perfect emotional anchor. Instead of wide smiles, I maintained a subtle, observant calm. Hand gestures were equally vital—whether resting my chin in hand, lightly touching blossoms, or tracing the rim of a teacup, every action had to feel casual yet effortlessly calculated. The blue beaded bracelet on the glove and the gemstone pendant at the neck provided gorgeous focal points in close-ups.
