This set of Zenless Zone Zero Vivian cosplay photoshoot final cuts is finally out! The entire process, from preparation to shooting and post-processing, actually took a lot of thought. The biggest highlight of this styling lies in the layered costuming and the unique setting of the elf ears, so during pre-production, I primarily locked down two contrast-heavy settings: a dreamy blue-purple atmospheric studio and a vintage, warm-toned European-style home studio.

Let's chat about the overall makeup and hair first. The long purple curls combined with the silver-white front bangs create a wig texture that is exceptionally difficult to manage. To manifest Vivian's lightweight yet textured aura, the hair stylist did a lot of detail processing here, including the root fluffiness and the curling arc of the hair ends; only by coordinating with the Elf ear cosplay props could the overall head proportions look perfectly balanced. For the makeup, the focus is on matching the red eyeshadow with the red pupils, which not only highlights the character's languid mystery but also maintains a piercing, cool gaze in front of the lens. A matte rose-bean paste shade was chosen for the lip color to avoid over-glossiness, fitting the character's temperament much better.

The clothing details are incredibly rich. The cuffs of the white shirt are not ordinary straight cuts but a patchwork of large bell sleeves and ruffles. To prop up this specific sleeve shape, the fabric selection and internal structural lining had to be spot on, otherwise it could easily collapse. The blue striped bow tie at the collar and the central metal loop add a touch of academy and vintage style. The leather corset at the waist is the absolute soul of the entire costume; it pulls the upper and lower body proportions far apart. The corset features not only metal buckles but also an interlaced design of multi-layered leather belts and fabric strips. To maintain a flat look while sitting, I was actually in a slight core-tightened state throughout the shoot. The design of the skirt hem is also quite distinct—the edge of the white outer skirt features waterdrop-shaped hollow-outs, paired with a black irregular leather inner skirt and deep blue patchwork fabric, offering an immensely rich sense of layering. The matching black pantyhose and black platform high heels make the leg lines appear much longer, and the shiny purple bows and rivets tied around the ankles echo the hair color, enhancing the styling's exquisite texture.

The studio scenes at Chengdu Xitang for this shoot were incredibly accurate. In the dreamy studio, white Roman pillars and blue-purple flower clusters paired with soft purple lighting to forge a highly fairytale-like atmosphere. My actions of holding a book and a candlestick in Pictures 1 and 2 fit the character's vibe of reading or exploring the unknown beautifully. Meanwhile, in the vintage studio, the dark brown carved leather sofa, brass candlesticks, hourglass, vintage clock, and dark red background created a tranquil, sedimented beauty through overlapping warm light and dark tones. When shooting Pictures 4 and 5, I intentionally adjusted my sitting posture to let my legs cross naturally, exposing the high heels and stockings, which combined with the white pigeon prop in my hands to give the frame a deeper narrative feel. The hourglass and clock serving as background props also metaphorically whispered expressions about time.

Photographer Nanhua was exceptionally professional in handling the light. To balance both the glossy surface of the leather jacket and the matte texture of the pleated skirt during the shoot, multiple side-backlights were utilized for definition, and the post-processing also preserved the clear translucency of the skin and overall image quality. Although holding specific postures for a long time during full-body masterpieces is quite tiring, seeing the final light and shadow atmosphere makes every single piece of effort feel completely worthwhile. This set of images showcases the different facets of Vivian's temperament across varied settings, and I hope everyone can feel the dense atmosphere captured in this set.
