[Wishadel Cosplay] Arknights Red and White Battle Suit Fitting Log

Stuffing this Wishadel battle suit from Arknights into my closet took much more effort than imagined. Putting on the complete outfit from scratch took even more than double my makeup time. Although I had checked setting art many times, wearing it on myself provided a genuine physical feel of its tight wrap and the weight of partial hard materials.

Starting with the iconic hair, the red horn hairpiece required partitioning hair first, pinning it down, before securing it tightly. The silver-white wig, with so many layers and length, took quite some energy just combing through and adjusting hair strands before heading out in this White hair cosplay look. The black turtleneck collar around the neck preserved the compact aesthetic while recreating her mysterious, dangerous aura.

The upper body's red-and-white spliced jacket uses large fabric layering to create a puffy yet torn effect. The blue-black tassels along the edges tangled easily when first put on, requiring patient untangling strand by strand. Symmetrical black shoulder straps, chest buckles, and tactical-looking webbing details had to be arranged neatly to make the outfit look full rather than messy. The trickiest part lies in the waist separation: bare midriff demands maintaining core definition while ensuring the belt sits perfectly on the shorts' waist without riding up or slipping down. The red-and-gray long ribbon at the waist initially tangled with the black tail extending from my back, requiring minor adjustments to achieve a natural drape.

The lower body's glossy black shorts look visually tough with great body-wrapping fit, highlighting leg lines completely. White leather leg straps on the thighs are essential accents in this Cosplay outfit; their metallic buckle design elongates lower-body proportions while adding bright highlights to the dark lower half. Chunky black lace-up boots elongate height and feel solid when walking without being clumsy.

The biggest challenge during this Cosplay fitting was the prop. The tactical-style weapon mounted on my back carries a solid plastic and metallic paint texture. While not unbearable, balancing it with the outfit tested bodily posture. Standing still for photos was fine, but turning or moving required micro-adjustments for weapon weight distribution and tail sway. Looking at myself in the mirror delivered a powerful visual impact.

Calling her "Her Highness" reflects my playful, chuunibyou-ish mindset when cosplaying her. The character's aura, amplified by the attire, projects an unmistakable sense of presence. Setting lore aside, my personal feeling is that this outfit design is truly insane—rich in elements, clashing high-contrast colors like red, white, black, and blue alongside straps, buckles, and distress details. If a single strap is missed or the hat isn't placed ideally, the cool factor drops. I spent nearly an hour fine-tuning every component, from sleeve guard length to belt symmetry and leg strap hole tightness.

This shoot was a home Cosplay fitting session. Doing it at home provided a much more relaxed state. Standing on the treadmill taking mirror selfies gave a direct view of how colors rendered under natural room light. The red-and-white jacket popped with high color saturation against beige tiles and wooden cabinets. Ordinary ceiling fluorescent lights without outdoor lens blur let every stitch and distressed edge show clearly. Even in an everyday home setting, the look fit in without discord due to its street-style and tactical mashup design.

In summary, a great outfit design is beloved not only for high fidelity, but because it offers endless wearing and styling possibilities. Walking around the living room in it instantly lets you feel the character's charm and enter character mode. As a character I greatly admire, wearing her costume neatly and looking crisp in photos is deeply satisfying. Though tiring, moving in front of the mirror and sensing the unique temperament brought by the costume makes it all completely worth it.
