Today I shot a set of convention photos for Sigrika from Wuthering Waves at the convention venue. The color scheme of this costume is genuinely eye-catching; the purple-and-white gradient iridescent fabric has fantastic texture under natural light, and the skirt hem lifts slightly when walking. To recreate the character's design, I specially matched green circle lenses and wore pointy elf ear props, which look exceptionally translucent under the sunlight.

A lot of thought went into the makeup and hair styling. The orange long curly hair was braided into two thick pigtails hanging in front of the chest, with hair ends tied using purple hair ties, and the complex hair ornament on top of the head featuring a white star and purple fabric indeed required plenty of hairspray to secure. The eye makeup was slightly tweaked to match the green eyes, adding a bit of brightening glitter to bring out a dreamy 2D anime feel.

The costume's details are exceptionally abundant. This white-and-purple spliced off-the-shoulder blouse features a white criss-cross strap design at the neckline, with golden geometric pendants and purple tassels hanging on the chest, creating a crisp clinking sound when walking. The white-and-purple alternating fingerless long sleeves worn on the arms, featuring geometric line patterns, are also a major feature of this styling. The lower body consists of black tight hot pants, paired with purple open-toe high-heeled sandals, and the gold triangular decorations on the shoelaces and ankles are exquisite.

I must particularly mention the leg details. The orange-red geometric line tattoo stickers on the thighs and calves, along with the black leather leg ring at the base of the right thigh, perfectly showcase the leg lines together with the shorts, which is also an extremely appealing aspect of this styling. I also brought a white-and-purple striped spherical plush toy as a prop, holding it in my hands to enhance the character's cuteness.

The shooting location was chosen in the booth area, surrounded by scattered huge gift boxes in red, blue, and white, with blue-and-white circular floor stickers on the ground. When taking photos, I tried many kinds of poses, such as jumping up with one leg lifted, or kneeling on both knees with hands resting on thighs, as well as an elegant sitting posture on a gift box. To showcase leg lines, sitting on the box with crossed legs or leaning forward to reach out and interact with the lens were angles the photographer loved. Although direct sunlight caused a bit of harsh contrast on the face, thankfully the photographer resolved it brilliantly through angle-finding and fill lighting. Even though there were passersby in the background, the wide aperture's blur effect kept the frame clean. This set of convention photos went smoothly from makeup/styling to shooting, and I hope it captures the character's lively yet slightly cool vibe.
