[Cyrene Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail — Dreams in Sheer Gauze

Shooting Cyrene from Honkai: Star Rail started with establishing the color palette for the set. Given her soft pink-white-blue tones, I opted for bright, diffused lighting to emphasize dreaminess. The wig proved intricate: ice-blue gradient tips required custom extension techniques to blend seamlessly into pale pink tops, taking nearly two hours to align hair strands and volume.

For the outfit, I selected pearlescent satin that maintained premium sheen under top lights without muddying contrast. Chest patterns were built with soft armor-style tailoring trimmed in silver threads and laser foil, creating crisp close-up depth. Blue flowing ribbons and wrist ties were pre-shaped to hold 3D curves even while reclining.

Set construction paired a white angel statue with crystal birdcages whose golden accents contrasted against cool florals. White hydrangeas filled the foreground, captured via wide-angle overhead angles to extend flower petals toward the frame edges.

Makeup focused on translucent skin texture with a light base and subtle sheen. Soft grey-brown eye shadows and gentle eyelines gave her a serene, sleeping expression, topped with a glossy peach lip shade. Reclining for extended periods required core tension to keep the outfit and wig smooth, but watching diffuse light brush across the face made every effort worthwhile under Anime-style photography techniques.
